SPRING is a song celebrating the season going by the same name. Living in a nordic country spring is a collective sigh of relief. It's like lifting a corner of the dark, gray and heavy blanket you've been living under for months, letting in some light. This is a song about that!

A groovy song built from the rhythm-section up. A laid back four on the floor accompanied by a tasty repetitive bassline to make you move! Stuck in a rather uninspiring routine of traveling to work under a dull sky and lifeless environments. Entering a warehouse with white walls and gray floors filled with people dressed in all black work clothes. Combine that with me having trouble getting passed rough sketches of ideas makes things seem kind of gray. But I'm not depressed, just looking for some color!

Looking For Color by Otson

Bits of Freedom is a deeply personal song for me. Leaving my love in another country to live apart for a while. Realising how much she means to me, and how little everything else means in comparison. Thinking about this while doing the only thing I can't do when she's around, smoking cigarettes.
Even though it is a personal song I hope you can find something in it too!

Trying to write music can be incredibly frustrating. This particular time I was stuck in a cool riff without anything to sing. Fortunately an older lady decided to walk out on her balcony completely naked, sparking the idea for this song.
