Montreal industrial heavyweight Of Tanz Victims and AUN, unite forces as OTVAUN, on their first collaboration album ‘Eschaton Verboten’.

Forever eschewing trends OTVAUN’ ‘Eschaton Verboten’  is  a concrete, ambient,  drum and bass dream (nightmare), featuring the unmistakable …Of Tanz Victims guitar sound and both band’s sinister sense of humour and electro-ambient-industrial rituals. 

Both formations were part of the first wave of industrial music in Montreal, a close knit scene revolving around influent underground label and shop Bunker Records. Often crossing paths since the mid 80s, the apocalypse finally brought them together.

Recorded and mixed between January and December 2021, ‘Eschaton Verboten’ certainly possesses the urgency and weirdness of that year, but still keeps (maybe its lasts) glimpses of hope.

Beyond a cult discography, no one has ever seen Of Tanz Victims faces, their true identities are a vague mishmash of fact and fiction. Rumors have been circulating for years about who they might be, and why they have been hiding behind masks and paper bags. Not much else is known about OTV.

AUN (Cyclic Law, Denovali, Important) 
Globetrotting multi-instrumentalists Martin Dumais’ industrial ambient juggernaut ‘AUN’ produces deep hypnotic, otherworldly pulsing soundscapes and left field techno de-constuctions, for some of the top international avant and ambient labels.  He also creates as one half of Industrial Techno duo Stärker (Hospital Productions, Zhark Recordings Berlin, Concrete, Total Black ), plays guitar in experimental drone trio Ghidrah and currently produces under new alias SVHS (Hautec, Archipel)
