levels of perception

Is an recording of an algorithmic sound installation "Powerful Stimulus"

8:0 sound system, eight contact speakers, media server.

The sound installation is a metaphorical reflection of the dynamics of perception and adaptation in the interaction between art and society, and reflects a pattern of certain reactions - a conditional analogue of the nervous system - where art acts as a stimulus. 
Each work of the installation "Well-Trodden Connections" - the artists points of view and concepts - become "sensors". The information they produce is sent to the "brain" - the work "SenseOrTouch" by Daniil Siabro. This structure reproduces the process in which a person forms his or her position based on various interpretations of the world and their local context. 
The signals from the "sensors" prompt the "brain" to produce a beta rhythm that is reproduced through sound. Shifting from speaker to speaker, the sound becomes an indicator of the activity of the human subconscious, which is constantly looking for ways to interact, adapt and survive.

The artwork was presented at the "Coexisting with Darkness" exhibition at Mystetskyi Arsenal in Kyiv, Ukraine.
