“Nuits d’orages” est un single francophone indie-pop. La chanson se caractérise par ses patterns de synth ​groovy​ et mélodieux, et sa basse lourde, qui sont agencés avec des voix à la fois harmonieuses, entraînantes et douces; une atmosphère parfaite pour les nuits chaudes d'été! Le texte traite d’une relation entre deux personnes qui, lors d’une nuit de tempête et d’orages, s’emballent dans une dispute qui mènera à la fin de leur histoire. Quoique le thème de la chanson soit plutôt mélancolique, l’instrumental permet une ambiance joyeuse et éloquente qui rend cet amour déchirant un peu plus beau...

« Nuits d’orages » [Eng. Night of the storm] is a French indie-pop single. Its predominant sounds and instruments are, among others, a groovy, hard-hitting bass, a melodious keyboard, harmonious (almost euphoric) vocals and other synthetically created kicks and patterns. The song is very sweet-sounding and blends both a sound that is catchy and easy to listen to in the verses and choruses, as well as a sound that is more intricate and dense at the bridge. 
	In terms of the lyrical meaning, the song puts forth the end of a romantic relationship for two individuals. However, it is a more joyful and upbeat approach to this heart wrenching reality that two people, who must let go of each other, are facing. « Nuits d’orages » captures the moment where the storm hits (metaphorically and literally) between the two individuals. As they sit in a car while the rain pours over them, they finally admit to their most honest and transparent feelings and understand that they can no longer go on.
