For the next edition of OUFFFCAST, we have the genuine pleasure to welcome accomplished selector and all around nice guy - Gira!

As one of the founders of the Basic Movement collective in Paris, Gira has been an integral part of the electronic music resurgence that has taken place in the French capitol in recent years. From a distance and with keen interest, we have observed the increasing number of DJs, producers, music collectives and clubs that have burst on to the scene. Gira is an important force of this evolution.

Over the last couple of years, Gira has invited and shared the booth with a bunch of A+ selectors like Sugar Free, Andrew James Gustav, Digby, Youandewan, Alec Falconer, Riccardo, Manuel Schatz, the gentlemen from Beau Mot Plage, and many more. With great energy and enthusiasm, Gira is someone whose passion for music is impossible to miss. His contribution to the OUFFFCAST series is a true testament to his deep musical knowledge and enviable mixing skills. I hope you enjoy the mix as much as we do. We've been keeping a steady eye on Joao for a while and really loved his first track in one of our favourite recent labels called Kaizenrecordsberlin. 

In that same year, he then went onto launch his very own label Nugs On Board.

The co-label boss of the Unknown Frequencies imprint has been an avid collector of records for the best part of 20 years and his musical depth and knowledge is perfectly presented throughout this classy blend. This ones sure to keep the ears warm and toasty through these winter times

Picnic podcast 008 - ES-B

Reeshy is a proper northern lass - grew up in Middlesbrough and now lives in Leeds. She learnt to mix vinyl when her now 13 old daughter was in bed , 10 years ago. 
Reeshy plays and loves everything from Disco to Soul to UK Garage to Techno and spends hours digging and going back through her music rediscovering stuff that she forgot she ever had.
She plays round Leeds and Manchester at all sorts of parties and loves an after party set. 
This mix was done in her kitchen on her technics with her cats as my audience. One jumped on the mixer halfway thru. 
The mix summarises Reeshy’s personality and style as a DJ and she’s she knows pretty much straight away if she likes a tune or not by whether it makes her pull a bass face.
Favourite selectors are; Truly Madly , Joe Delon, Binh, Lutz , Evan Baggs and Wendy.

Mix #four: Reeshy [UK]

With 2020 coming to an end, and the present times feeling like a surreal Twilight Zone episode, we felt it was the right time to invite a handful of friends & selectors to be involved in our Complex Future mix series.  

For the first instalment, we have invited an avid & seasoned record digger in Dale Mussington! As one third of NorthSouth Records, alongside fellow selectors/producers Harry McCanna (Henry Hyde) & Sam Bangura, Dale has provided us with an hour long mix consisting of wonky breaks & two stepping garage, pieced together with rolling house & techno. With smoother blends than your local barber, this one is bound to get your mum tapping her feet at the Christmas table.

Oblicast 015 is from Austrian DJ @elias_djvoid, we met Elias while he was traveling in Australia and we were touring Gene on Earth, Elias warmed up for him at one of the parties.

elias aka DJ Void is a young producer and selector, born in 1991 in western Austria, in a town in the middle of the woods. Started with playing drums, he caught attention in the Viennese scene when he drifted into electronic music. Collecting records and djing since ever he's helped shape the underground scene of the city with parties such as Malennachzahlen and X-fact. Perfect housey vibes for the upcoming spring.

This mix is dedicated to his last Australia journey in March 2019, representing vibes & trax he had in his mind, when he finished his journey through the country. He got to know great people like the Sash Crew, Sunday Breakfest Club and the oblique gang.
