Peruvian artist Marco Tegui has made a name for himself with hypnotic sounds, melodic journeys around the world and dark but bouncy harmonies. Starting in 2014 he established his residency in Berlin, playing in the best clubs of the city and releasing tracks on iconic labels like Bar25 Music, Dantze and Kindisch. We are happy to welcome him for another beautifully crafted EP called Pachquiza, that showcases his unique organic downtempo sound.

Nico Stojan set up Ouie with his friend and longtime collaborator Acid Pauli as a conduit for the unique and wonderful music they and their friends have become synonymous with. This latest release reaffirms the magical quality the label has cultivated, this time in the form of a teamwork between Nico and David Mayer. 

'Fling' kicks off powerfully - a shuffling, organic groove leads the way before synth pads, jazzy piano riffs and a big breakdown amp up the atmosphere. 

'Safari' employs a similarly swung, live feel to the groove, before dropping in a breakbeat to take things to the next level. The track builds tension as synths are layered and layered, resulting in a mystical leftfield bomb.

'Kalamanka' is a taut, atmospheric slice of late night voodoo, built around live percussion and understated synths.

Following up to his epic tune from 2019, "Magneto", SVT alum Nhii surfaces this spring on A Tribe Called Kotori with his latest solo instalment, "Brooklyn Serenity". True to his free-flowing, widescreen approach towards production and life in general, Nhii (No Human Is Illegal) telekinetically escorts his listener onto a path of vibrant sensual psychedelia and eclectic wizardry that lack neither spirit nor oomph. 

As totemic silhouettes blend into a goosebump-inducing tapestry of polyrhythmic drums and stealth electronics, the opening cut "The Light Inside" - featuring Shrii's suave vocals - invites you to a whirling carnival of bleepin' and bloopin' extravaganza, packed to the brim with that trademark Nhii soulful punch. The further syncopated "Soul Xylem" picks up the torch with swagger and attitude, pulling out a playful distillate of warm Jewish jazz clarinet, freq-shifting bass and frolicsome drums to satisfyingly deep yet dynamic effect. 

Hopping in on remix duty, B.o.T unbridles the original's horsepower with extra focus and emphasis on DJ use. Repurposed for no-nonsense dance floor traction, "Soul Xylem" proves a highly efficient energy-booster while retaining all of Nhii's refined melodic touch and laid-back, smokey jazz vibes. Premium material for the jockeys out there, yes, but with that cracking, all-natural strut of Nhii we dig so much.

A new name on Manual Music as we proudly introduce Demian, a fresh faced producer from Croatia who debuts on our label with his 'Homewalk' EP.

Both the title track as well as the 'Introvert' are quite minimalistic in nature which leaves space for the synths to shine thru. Cleverly produced with a big ear for detail these tunes will definitely stand the test of time. They sound like they could have been released a decade ago or if they're about to be released a decade from now. Their subtle build ups and eventual euphoric eruptions make them really stand out from a lot of the standardized music you hear nowadays. Openminded electronic music from the heart, just the way we love it!

Our favorite recent discovery Bouzidi is the perfect candidate to rework the title track and he came up with two different versions: the 'subtle mix' and the 'rough mix' - we guess the titles give you a hint of what to expect.. His debut release 'It Never Ends' turned a lot of heads last year and all three of the songs still remain firmly on top of his best sellers list on Beatport. Like Demian we feel Bouzidi is one of those openminded producers who doesn't want to confirm to any rules of how much should sound or what an arrangement must be like.

Proper experimental, minimal and melodic deepness here on the latest Manual Music release. We hope you'll value it as much as we do.

David  Mayer is a boundary-defying producer and DJ whose sonic palette has been shaped by an extraordinary multicultural upbringing spanning Germany, Spain, Norway, and ultimately Berlin, where he settled in 2004. This rich tapestry of cultural influences has cultivated his distinctive approach to music—one that refuses to be confined by genre conventions.
