Michael gives us a detailed description of how Rome made decisions at the fall of the temple in 70 AD of what books were venerated to be sacred and what were to be taken from the Bible.  They did not want the words of Christ and the prophesy of the Son of Man before Jesus came -  to give power to the people.  They needed to Rule the people and have them reverence the Government because of their faith in a Deity.
