During this weird time, I'm doing a livestream show on twitch.tv/packtheater every third Thursday of the month with Brutus at 8, and working on a musical one with Jen Eden but that's not up and running yet. 

Barton Lewis watched a lot of musicals on VHS tape growing up and attended NYU studying music, theatre, and dramatic literature. While there he workshopped with the New York Neo-Futurists and became involved at the Upright Citizens Brigade, then moved to LA and attended the UCB, Improv Space, and Miles Stroth Workshop/Pack Theater improv programs, as well as the Pack sketch program. He can be seen at the Pack Theater every fourth Thursday of the month at 8 PM in Some Sort of Show, a musical sketch variety show co-produced with Jonathan Cho, and every first Wednesday at 8 PM with house sketch team Brutus. An accomplished pianist, he has worked and appeared with artists such as Gaili Schoen, Jeffrey Lewis, Jonathan Mann, Alan Merrill, and the Left Banke. He has performed his original material both solo and with bands at venues in New York including the Knitting Factory, Sidewalk, and Old St. Patrick's Cathedral, and in LA at the Sayers Club, State House, and the back room at the Pig ’n’ Whistle.

In the mid 2000s, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Sufjan Stevens said he was going to make on album for all 50 US states, but he gave up after 2 albums because he's a coward. In March of 2020, I banded together with the goofs of the internet while under quarantine to finish this project once and for all.
