Essa versão, da forma como aí está, foi o começo do Our Gang. Ale tinha acabado de voltar da Inglaterra, não nos víamos há uns bons anos. Trocamos emails a respeito do que fazer juntos, musicalmente, quando ele chegasse. Nessa época Justice tinha acabado de lançar Cross, e o combinado era ir nessa onda, haha. Ele pintou lá em casa, eu tinha apenas um instrumento, um Yamaha PSR 75 do Igor, um amigo nosso e havia acabado de instalar o Sonar, começando a entender como isso funcionava. Não lembro como a melodia e a letra surgiram, mas foi quase automático. E se passaram dez anos. Difícil descrever o amor por essa música e o que ela proporcionou pra gente como arte e como certeza de que amizade assim só poderia resultar em amor sincero em forma de canção. Love Song!

It includes vocals from Juliana Girardi, originally released as part of the compilation "Midsummer Tapes", by SICMUSIC. 

The track brings an indie-dance sonority and translates a bit of the south Brazil summer season atmosphere., full of caipirinha drinks, amazing tropical venues and crazy beach parties.

Our Gang has debuted as a band in 2007, when they opened the Puma Stage to the American DJ Diplo and the Brazilian duo The Twelves. Around this time they launched their first single, “Love Song“, which was quite well received in the underground scene, and was remixed by Playperview label head DJ Fabo. 

This track also got them into the Adidas House Party, where they played along with friends of Copacabana Club, supporting DJ Paserock. 

After some time performing as a DJ set in parties such as the Ray Ban Sessions, they came back to studio to record the single “Eddie Murphy/Casanova“, as well a version of “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac, which they turned into an electronic gem, both balanced and fluid, as refreshing as cold water in the summer. 

Now the drummer and producer Carlos Costa joined the band to release “People Get Together”, their new single.
