Exploited’s semi-regular eclectic “mini compilation” series continues, with Shir Khan collecting together a highly eclectic quartet of new cuts from the label featuring One Bit, Josh Caffe & The Subs, CLAAP! / Santaoloria & Santana and Mita Mita. 

About ONE BIT:
One Bit are a 2 piece electronic act who between them play more instruments than you can shake a stick at. In addition to being included on Radio 1’s BBC Introducing playlist, they have picked up radio support from Pete Tong, Phil Taggart, Huw Stephens to name just a few.  Their live set fuses drums, keyboards, percussion and a trumpet alongside synths, pads and vocals. Past gigs and festivals include T in the Park, Boardmasters, We Are FSTVL, Sound City.  

About JOSH CAFFE & THE SUBS:
We got introduced to Josh Caffe via PJU who were both featured on Secret Gold 06 alongside Robert Owens. Recent festivals appearances include Glastonbury, Lovebox (London), and Farr, as well as clubs like Dance Tunnel (London/RIP), Renate (Berlin), TV Lounge (Detroit), Primary (Chicago), Crosstown Rebels/Get Lost (Miami). He is currently resident and founder of the monthly London club night Night Sheen, co-hosted with influential spinner Hannah Holland! 
’Black Soul’ is a collaboration with David Newtron from The Subs - the energetic Belgian trio whose thrilling blend of electro, rave and punk have been tearing up dancefloors since 2006.

Bufi returns with a single announcing the arrival of summer. Inspired by youth-travel with his friends through the pristine beaches of Mexico in the early 2k’s, Mateo sings to us about a life where tomorrow doesn’t matter; what matters is to have fun, Here and Now. This is a characteristic vision of a latin american teenager, back when you could still be on the road in Mexico without having to fear narco. Now, at a time when the debate on legalization of drugs is a national issue, Mañana tries to remind us that many people have used psycho- active substances to live positive, enriching and unforgettable experiences. The single includes a beautiful and nostalgic remix by Mexican project Salón Acapulco, as well as a funkier version by Portuguese prodigy Moullinex.
Bufi is the solo project of Mateo González Bufi, a producer from Mexico City. After releasing on Kitsuné, Record Makers and his own Duro, Bufi is now about to release his second album through portuguese label Discotexas, run by Moullinex and Xinobi. Mañana is the second cut from the mexican producer new record, right after the charming first single Cosmoattack was released back in february. This EP included a blasting remix from Mijo and had support from names like Tiga, Sasha, Ewan Pearson, Anthony Pappa, Sanfuentes and many more. Revelación, the artist sophomore record, will be available in digital and vinyl autumn 2016.

The latest installment to the Love & Other Drugs compilation series comes true with 4 shiny new slabs of chunky tech house – each honing undeniable club understanding.

The EP begins with a hotly tipped piano jam on the titular ‘Sentilo’ from DJ Cameo, Myles & Gavin Francis – delivering a straight up club chugger with a moody mix of stabs, off shots and vocal murmurs. ‘Lucky Day’ continues on a similar vibe - from the illusive, nameless producer under_score (even we don’t know the mastermind behind the alias!) - providing an enigmatic sound, weaving between trance inducing rhythms, jittering voices and a healthy dose of low-end energy.

Next up on the bill, rising stars Mandal & Forbes provide their second contribution to the label with their piano led weapon ‘Gravity’ – refining a sound that delves into deeper territory for the twosome, whilst providing a distinctly 2016 tech house flavour. Rounding off the package in fine style Dantiez & Greco (NYC) provide arguably the heaviest track on the EP, featuring Joe Le Groove with their offering ‘The Night’ - aptly titled and purpose built for late night floors with the focus here being drums and groove.

After huge releases on Defected, the Brighton-based Dj & producer gives us some slices of summer vibes: 'Party Time' is an avant-garde disco-house ready to rock the dancefloor in two different ways: a fresh and loopy track called Terrace Mix and the Club Mix, a funky fuelled, bass heavy & dubby version.
