Mystic State - Mahdi EP

Bristol based label Locus Sound have certainly put a shift in since launching in 2017. Throughout their eleven releases, they haven't been scared to put some fairly unknown figures into the spotlight, giving them a chance to unveil their fresh, innovative sounds to the world and in turn, becoming one of the most freshest, forward-thinking labels about. From fiery digital EPs by Ceramics (LOCUS006), Sedan (LOCUS009) and particularly Ourman (LOCUS008) who's since made some serious moves, Locus Sound most recently made their way to a first vinyl release where SBK had the honour of displaying his original material on 'Kingdom Of Sobek' (LOCUSV001). And now, the label rounds off the year with their first compilation LP, featuring ten original tracks and a solid group of fresh faces as well as a couple more familiar to the label.
Today we have the pleasure of showcasing SBK's offering, where he returns to the label in style with the ice cold sounds of 'Naiads'.
