It’s a bit over a year since my Covid-19 mix: “Electronic Unfolding Episode 027 | We Will Meet Again On The Beach”. Since then, it has been my most popular episode of any show that I’ve ever done, with almost 2200 listens. I figured it was time to do a follow-up mix. The Covid-19 pandemic is still going on, however, now the vaccination process has started, we are starting to see a spark of light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully, this is the last time I’ll have to do a mix in regards to this pandemic theme. Music always can bring us hope in the darkest of times, and this mix is quite energetic and hopeful. Famed for his official covers, there is perhaps no active electronic music artist who has remade more of our scene’s most seminal tracks. Dance2Trance, Depeche Mode, Felix Da Housecat, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Knights of the Jaguar, Mory Kante and more have all received Space Motion’s inimitable production touch. Continuing to search for seminal tracks to put his elusive stamp on, Space Motion recently took to remixing Paul Jackson’s ‘The Push’. Released in 2003 via Darren Emerson’s Underwater Records, the ten-minute plus tribal tech-house workout was the soundtrack of many DJ sets across the next calendar year, earning play from Carl Cox, Gabriel & Dresden, Pete Tong and more.
