This is a song about a small provincial town called 'Elektrostal' (literally 'electric steel' in Russian), where I was born and raised. The place is full of drug addicts, feaks, weirdos, and just generally strange people — but that’s part of its charm.
The number 5096 refers to the town's code in the FIDO network.

I didn’t want the track to be too short, so the ending ended up being quite drawn-out and packed with all sorts of things. Interestingly, many people actually liked that, so I decided to leave it as is.

Inspired by the music of Capkonamco.
