Created in 2023, Out Runner is a project inspired by music and film from the 80's.

It's main focus is to provide original music and serve as the soundtrack while engaging listeners in a gripping story.

Out Runner follows the life of Jigen, a Bounty hunter that lives a dual life as a mysterious musician traveling across the wasteland desert of a Utopian, Futuristic & Cyberpunk World.

A few months ago, I had an accident, a blackout, that left me with multiple injuries and a completely shattered jaw. It was a physically and emotionally painful time, but something truly beautiful happened: this amazing community came together to support me in the most overwhelming and heartwarming way.

When I was finally able to return to making music, I knew I had to create a song that captured this moment in time. BLACKOUT is a reflection of everything I’ve experienced since then… the pain, the healing, the joy, and above all, the support.

To each and every one of you who stood by me: THANK YOU. I wouldn’t be where I am without you.

Out Runner is an independent music producer, musician, and songwriter who combines elements of Synthwave, Rock and Ambient to create a distinctive, retro yet modern, melodic, and emotive-driven sound.

Originally from Guatemala City, Out Runner grew up immersed in music, video games, and movies from the 80s that fueled his passion for playing the electric guitar, keyboards, and synthesizers.

With a career as a producer and musician spanning over 15 years in the music industry, Out Runner started off in the Rock, Funk, and R&B scene, performing with multiple bands and producing over 100 artists over the years. Nowadays, he is focused on his solo project, Out Runner, which aims to provide the soundtrack for an epic musical journey.

Whether you're a fan of nostalgic and melodic "Gilmour-style" guitar solos, synth-heavy instrumentals, or just looking for music to relax, meditate or escape, Out Runner has something for you.
