This is the 8th episode of our monthly podcast 'Nachtstrom Sessions' mixed by Oliver Rosemann!

Oliver is a German techno artist who has been exploring his sound for many years. Over the time, he has made numerous releases on the most famous labels in the scene. Including many 12“ records, studio albums and also remixes for respected artists.

His music is characterized as dark, dirty and hypnotic. You can hear his tracks at the hands of the most famous DJs in clubs around the world. Or by himself, he is also traveling internationally and playing DJ sets or live sets.

Since 2021 he has been running the label “Recorded Things”, which has since gained a strong reputation among new and established artists. Here you can also recognize the sound that Oliver distributes.

Music connects like-minded producers in the scene so Oliver is involved in various collaboration projects. He works with Pfirter, Alexander Kowalski and Jonas Kopp and has released plenty of EPs with them.

Inside this collection you won’t find any intro or interlude, just raw and crude dancefloor exercises, provided at high tempos, rugged and merciless but mental and abstract at the same time.

You can smell the crudeness of hardware in every second of this workout from beginning to end. Tools that drill your mind and add organic spice to your mixes, carefully arranged and sound designed for optimal performance in the club.

Hypnotic and martian but also punchy and dynamic all this tunes definitely standout from the invasion of clones out there. This is timeless underground dance music at its best.

Bio:
Yax is a techno DJ based in Adelaide, Australia, with a decade of experience behind the decks. His sound draws inspiration from the deep, groovy, hypnotic techno of the '90s and early '00s, fused with a contemporary edge. Influenced by artists like DVS1, Donato Dozzy, and Jeff Mills, Yax crafts sets that emphasize tension, groove, and long-form storytelling.
In 2021, he launched Yax Invites — a podcast dedicated to showcasing underground techno talent from around the world. Now surpassing 200 episodes, the series laid the foundation for him to begin promoting his own events: starting with an outdoor rave in 2023, followed by a string of techno nights called Paranoia at Sugar Nightclub. Notable international guests have included Decoder (US) and Carmen Electro (DE).

Bekannt ist er von dem Label Psychodevil´s Rec. und der Agentur Hardforce Booking. Er konnte auf diversen Festivals und in Clubs deutschlandweit sein Können unter Beweis stellen und die Meute mit seinem Sound zum kochen bringen. Da wären unter anderem nur einige genannt wie die Sandsteinhöhlen Halberstadt, das ARM und Panoptikum in Kassel, Heimspiel in Osterwieck, das Hell Festival oder auch das Centrum in Erfurt. Ein Hauch von Wahnsinn mit verlockenden Melodien gesellen sich zu seinem harten, manchmal auch Core-lastigen Beats.
Die Rede ist von Kevin Whit3, einem aufstrebenden Thüringer aus Hildburghausen.

Born in Ariana Tunisia on 1989 he began to listen the electronic music from the age of 14 immediately fell in love with the electronic sound and the energy that it emitted.

Thus began his journey by deepening his musical knowledge he incited himself to the use of the piano passing to the electronic drums to the analysis of analogical synthesizers, training day after day growing more and more so I began to understand what his style was.

His productions have been released on several labels such as: Fehler Musik, Industrial Techno United, Black Turtel Records, MTDN Audio Rec.......

He is currently living in Braunschweig in northern Germany.
He had the chance to play in well-known clubs in his home town like Brain Klub and Laut Klub and in other German and Tunisian cities.
