Opening things up, 'Vortex' takes us on a relentless four-to-the floor twisting journey through eerie soundscapes and rave-like synth stabs. Pulling our attention in through finely tuned details and powerful subs. Next up,'Random 47' takes us on a thrilling ride with multiple layers of beautifully crafted synth work and a thumping kick drum that sends an electrifying current through our senses. Lastly, Secret Cinema calls on newcomers, Amata to take 'Vortex' on a deeper narrative. Focused primarily on groove and dream-like pads which float over delicate drums. Not forgetting Amata's mean signature synth sound to tie the remix up sublimely.'

One of TAU’s core family members and an artist who we discovered and nurtured from day one, Innellea returns to the label. Over the last couple of years it’s been amazing to watch Innellea grow and succeed, with his music catching the attention of labels such as Innervisions, Diynamic and Afterlife. Now he’s back with TAU, delivering a neat four-track package that represents his unique, melodic approach to electronic music. The Hypolation EP is another big stride forward for this artist, who continues to impress with his production prowess.

First up is ‘Returning Spaces’, which begins with a rather sombre atmosphere, stuttered beats and rumbling bass. Hushed vocals weave an emotional narrative, while the instrumental becomes increasingly emotive, Innellea building up the tension to great effect. This one runs at just over three minutes, but it packs plenty of feeling into that time.

Next is the title track, ‘Hypolation’, which demonstrates Innellea’s ability to inject raw feeling into his dance floor compositions. A myriad layers buzz and swirl around each other, cultivating an illuminating atmosphere from the start. Within seconds you’re locked in, riding the wavelengths until you reach the dramatic breakdown. Innellea teases the main riff back in with dexterity, and we’re immersed in the second half of the cut, which maintains its adventurous spirit.

‘Pathological Passion’ could be an apt description of Innellea’s love for making music. This one has a steady beginning, leading into a solemn, melancholy melody. The emotionally-driven core gently unfurls to become all encompassing. Innellea really tells a story with this cut, switching things up around the two-minute mark, before the energy of the first half returns in abundance.

Finally, ‘The Arrival’ takes us into the mystical depths of the Middle East, with Arabian rhythms and instrumentation. A euphoric, trance-esque breakdown guides us into more exotic programming, it’s warm, energising and life-affirming. A perfect demonstration of Innellea’s versatility and his desire to channel a range of influences into his productions.

Barcelona based, Venezuelan duo, Fur Coat return to Sasha's Last Night On Earth imprint with the imperious 'Babel' EP. Three original cuts, plus a remix feature from the in demand Italian duo Hunter/Game.

Kicking off the EP is the title track 'Babel', a stripped back, melodic club heater, tinged with hypnotic, cosmic synth transmissions. Up next, 'Technical Maneuvers' is a bold yet refined cut which is neatly contrasted with dramatic synth blasts.

On the flip, the captivating, rolling groove of 'The Gate' takes things up a notch, and Hunter/Game turn down the lights with their remix on the title track 'Babel’. An undulating take ready to grace the dance floor.

PREMIERE: Fur Coat - The Gate (Original Mix) [Last Night On Earth]

The seventh installment of the “Picture” series is hosted by electronic music veteran Sasha Carassi. The Italian presents highly emotive Techno with nods to his adolescent 80s by implementing nostalgic organ, string or electric guitar sounds into his deep and driving productions.
Diynamic Music’s „Picture:“ series is a document in time, showcasing an artist’s current creative output in order to allow the listener to visualize and understand the artist at a certain moment. It is not an album format, but far more than merely an EP. “Picture:” is various dancefloor-oriented facettes of one producer, shaping the imagery that ultimately results in the listeners mind.

Sasha Carassi - Elethnic (Preview)

After a busy year of touring and releases in 2019, Denis Horvat is proud to announce the launch of his new label for 2020. Enter: Vokabularium. The name, carried over from Horvat's latest Innervisions release, takes on a new life. The label aims to be an immersive, perpetual story. The first release on Vokabularium will be from Horvat himself, delivering a diverse 4 song EP titled, "Extensions of Base Notes".

 The EP's A side starts with "Interference", a track which weaves dissonant guitar tones with a dark, haunting storyline—an exploration of fresh sounds and energy. A2 brings us to "Patenta", a melodic anthem of sorts. A driving bass-line guides you through this peak hour journey nodding to Horvat's signature sound. As we flip to the B side, we begin with "WCS". Here, we enter a world of mystery. Patient build ups with eerie vocals make for great tension. The listener is drawn in closely before the sound expands to keep you guessing—drop all expectations. Finally, we arrive at the B2 track titled, "Paan". Paan opens with a spacious environment offering the listener a sense of hope. Chord stabs on top of a dense beat close the EP with an emotional finale.
