The heat is rising with our 5th instalment coming from the volt of Meister Bert Ashra  @b-ashra  veteran from Berlin's 90s underground scene and active still in the city with his Mastering & Sound Design Studio and experimental audio production and studies.

The solo project B. Ashra has existed since 1993. B. Ashra is a live act, DJ, composer, sound designer and mastering engineer. The style is pretty cross-genre and ranges from ambient, experimental, soundscapes and trance techno to deep house and electronic jazz.

For his pure techno and house productions he uses the pseudonym Robert Templa and for the extremely experimental music, trash and gabba he calls himself Hackbert.

Furthermore, B. Ashra is active in several music projects and bands, including: Psychotikum, Cosmic Octave Orchestra, 70db, Morphon and Brain Entertainment Laboratory.

The collection is a double LP With a variety of sounds spacing between Ambient and Minimal - Techno vibes with deep bass-lines and layered melodic progressions written with special care to the evolution of the harmonies such to maintain those hypnotic feeling until the structure comes back together and releases a powerful groove.

Alienist Rec is back with its third instalment, presenting a special split EP that showcases the diverse talents of two exceptional artists. Each side of the vinyl is dedicated to a different artist, delivering a captivating blend of underground electronic music.

On the A-side, we are thrilled to introduce Chaou B, a promising young producer from Morocco. Known for his distinct style, Chaou B explores the realms of deep Techno Electro House with two mesmerising cuts that are not for the faint-hearted.

Track A1, titled "Instinct," is a dynamic composition featuring sharp drums that create an irresistible rhythmic foundation. Combined with a mesmerisingly mental and spiritual bassline, as well as a captivating synthline, this track is sure to take the breath away on every dance floor.

Track B1, "Frankfurt Jaam," is a masterful creation that showcases DJ Void's intelligent arrangement skills. Combining pulsating beats with a meticulously crafted blend of melodic elements, this track will undoubtedly keep your ears focused and your feet moving.

Based in Rome he’s recently releasing his music on independent labels or on his imprint Ipso Facto while playing for local and international venues like, The Magick Bar, Coropuna or Starlane in London. Very emotional and complex when both producing and djing for this release he showcases his ability to blend dark and appealing sounds being never boring but always mental and uplifting like for the A1, a masterpiece ready to smash every dance floor with that endless bassline closing perfectly on the straight 4/4 beat with techno electro influences. Ma.to is no stranger in the underground scene. Founder and artist of Outer Place Records – there is a good chance that you’ve already danced to his music productions and you weren’t aware of it. He recently relocated to London from his previous base which was Berlin. 

We welcomed him to our home city with a blast - here is the recording from his set at Fold when we took over the warehouse for an all day long journey in East London.

Ma.to combines elements from the 90s House and Techno in a modern minimalistic sound, which allows you to see the trends of the 90s in the language of contemporary electronic music. No wonder that his perception and radical conception about being a musician was influenced by the classical and intense formation he received since he was six years old.

Moving and living from Rome to Berlin in 2012 formed the character and musical influence of Ma.to's production and selection. Shaping the sound of his events in Hoppetosse and Club Der Visionäre, Outer Place and also leading to the Record Label project involving music from him and artists or friends around the globe.
