Chaou B (Rhytmics)

Casablanca based, Chaou.B is the founder of Rhytmics, an underground collective which is now a solid spot for the Moroccan ravers. His musical area is influenced by different sounds,  with hints of minimal, warping electro,broken beat and acid house,  which pushes him to dig into various styles, selecting over the last years an extremely versatile record collection around new and old gems.

Troy (Streela Booking)

Troy is a DJ and producer, a resident of the DSK PORT club. Originally from Odessa, Troy has lived and played in Kyiv, Krakow, and Berlin. In Kyiv, he was a resident of the Jugendhub club for some time. Returning to Odessa, he established himself in the local community of DJs and producers and is now one of the most recognizable representatives of the new wave of the Odessa scene.

The artist began to collect music, mainly on vinyl, in 2016. The selection is not limited to specific genres, but currently techno, electro, house, garage, and breakbeat are preferable.

In 2021 he released his joint track "Every Week" with Sasha Zlykh on the Berlin label Lapse Records. At the moment, the artist is working on new material; at his performances, one can often hear his unreleases tracks.

Outer Place Discovery 009 - Troy

Relocated to Berlin a couple years ago from New York, @carly-zeng is a Chinese-born DJ and an all round creative. 

Since her move she's been on the hunt for records across Europe (Germany, Belgium, Italy...) and effortlessly shares some of her finds for this mix. She exhibits her quirky and edgy style with an 80s, New Beat and EBM theme, as well as taking inspiration from her previous gig at Superluminal & Discarded Gems x Satelliet Studio @ Crack Bellmer, Berlin. It’s fun, it’s fierce, it’s everything you’d want from the 80s. 

If you've heard her previous sets you'd notice her craft for storytelling: "I enjoy uptempo, high energy sets and a nice buildup." She then confesses, "so I’m kind of a BPM junkie - I try to label a lot of my records so I can arrange them in certain parts of a set quickly."

Kurilo - Yevhenii Kurylo was born in Ukraine, in Kharkiv, on 11.08.1999.
Based in Berlin now.
Since the age of 12, Yevhenii has been playing percussion instruments.
After much practice, his first purchase was a Roland SPD-SX drum sampler, which encouraged him to participate in a hip-hop project.
His passion for music quickly turned into a desire to DJ and write electronic music. During his sets, he mostly plays vinyl. But he also loves playing live performances. His collection is rapidly expanding with releases from the 90s and so on.

Plazeg is a duo/label born in Paris. Now Based in London.
The duo have played drums for several years. Naturally, they developed a taste for electronic music. Combining their respective digg, they combine styles to create evolving and surprising sets.
Plazeg is able to propose sets that are very different from one another.
This time, the french duo offers a very special journey.

Hiya, we're back after a couple of months! 

Christian (@christian-206) and Sam (@samuelrodd) are flatmates, currently living in Berlin (via Bristol). Their mix today is a combination of oldies, new releases and also some self-produced unreleased bits. The boys run Meld (@meldberlin), their show on KMAH Radio, alongside third pal Sam Mole (@sammole) - the plan now is to expand into a record label, and one of the tunes from their first EP is even given a cheeky promo in the podcast. Christian will play one of our favourite spaces in July, The Pickle Factory, alongside Youandewan ahead of their joint release on Butter Side Up's new label. We hope you enjoy the trip!
