The band first started way back in 2003, with the intention of bringing fast and melodic hardcore styled music accompanied by everyday struggle and life threatening situations inspired lyrics to the scene.

As time went by, the band had gone through a lot of lineup changes and due to various genres of music interest within the new members, so has the band’s sound. In which, had taken a heavier, progressive and mellow melodic vibe.

Currently Outfall consists of Api (Lead vocal), Fabian Junior (Lead Guitar), Daryl Murray (Guitar), Dixon Jones (Bass) & Barry Bryen (Drums & Percussion).

Outfall has played its fair share of shows around Kota Kinabalu and toured Peninsular Malaysia way back in 2009, alongside bands from Singapore (Paris In The Making) & Italy (Milvains) which took place at Ampang Kuala Lumpur (Rumah Api), Ipoh & Taiping, Perak.

Outfall has shared the same stage with local & international bands such as A Better Hope Foundation (US), Antagonist AD (NZ), Driven Fear (AUS), Piss Christ (AUS), Siksa Kubur (INA), Krupskaya (UK), Killeur Calculateur (MY), Inquiry Last Scenery (MY), Ruins & Remains (SG), Deadscore (MY), Infinite Delay (MY), Nine Eleven (FRA), Mouthful of Air (SG) & many more.

During the period of 2003-2012, Outfall has released a few demo. “Be Excited”, “Heads Will Fucking Roll”, “The War & the Lies”, “Weightless” (2009) & “I’m That Bear” (2010).

The band 1st single, “Sleeping through Life” was released on 2013.

Outfall is generally been known as a metalcore band. Outfall’s songs presented high scream, growl & clean vocals, a technical melodic guitar riffs, breakdowns & a bit of post-rock vibes, with the influences including Killswitch Engage, Misery Signals, August Burns Red, After The Burial, For The Fallen Dreams, The Ghost Inside & many more.
