Funky - Pad - Thai

The Mangrove oscillator is just so beautiful. It has sweet spots where it sounds like some kind of exotic pluked-blown instrument, chasing fast notes, with an otherworldly tone like nothing else. Then some percussive resonance from Plaits, and drones from Rings, and there's something I could listen to all night. Sometimes have, actually.

Dunes

A live modular jam. Starts with a string sample manipulated with morphagene. Slowly transitions into a trigger-riot groove of analog sources like plaits, mangrove, filters and peaks. The leads  are hand-wiggled melodic lines coming from combined random sources, with step-sequenced choruses.

Live recording on the modular synth. Modules: Atlantis, Mangrove, 2HP Pluck, Marbles, Trigger Riot, Tempe, Peaks, and many things more. The insane duck sounds are coming from DInky's Taiko, from ALM.

a switched sequence of melodies, using the Monome Teletype (driving patterns), FMVDO from Modcan, Intellijel Atlantis, Erbeverb, 4ms Tapograpic, and lots of other things.

Stepping Outside

Testing a self-made module for distortion using a JFET transistor. Creates a curious and powerful growling sound. Google "iamo jfet modular" for info about how it works.

I Am Oh

Modular synth jam - Shifty is a module that can take a melody of notes and send them to different sound sources. Here I used about six oscillators to distribute the tones around. Playing also with the QU-Bit Prism which combines delay, filter and bit-crushing to get some nice effects.
