Origin's history stretches back to the early 2000s with releases on Argon, Gain, Project 51, Abstract, and CIA. A wizard (and teacher) of sound design, he has released tunes with Photek, Gridlok, Salva, Flinch, UFO!, and George Clinton. Origin pushes a bass heavy halftime sound with eclectic jungle and dub influences. With a sensibility that is decidedly underground, he nonetheless surfaces at some of the largest west coast festivals, including Nocturnal, LIB, and EDC.
