This was done rather quickly (and about a year/year and a half ago) in an attempt to familiarize myself with the Neptune voice synth that was present in Reason/Record 1.5

I had just recently found the session file, so I hope you enjoy :)

This just sort of happened.  I got to thinking about the Oppenheimer quote after the successful bomb test and wanted to do something with it.

This was done in Reason 6.5 exclusively.  I snatched the sample of his speech from youtube.

Durden

First try messing around with a "remix".  I really liked the vocal line from the song, and wanted to do something with it.  Finished it much faster than expected.

Everything was done in Reason 6.5  Pulled the acapella of Adele's vocals off of some DJ site.  Will update when I can find/remember the site.

The "Skyfall" song isn't mine, and all original credit goes to the respective performers, songwriters, and publishers.

The rename and adding of said song has suited my purposes for a concept that I've been thinking about completing for awhile.  All original credit can be found in the Description of my other work entitled "I Come as Myself".

Please buy and read the "Dark Tower" novels by Stephen King.  You seriously don't know what you're missing.


The Tower (Outlaw Skyfall Remix)

Inspired by Stephen King's "Dark Tower" novels, as well as a video on youtube called "I come in the name of...".  I can't be arsed to look for it, but thanks for the inspiration brother.  Also a band Mass for The Machine (of which I am a former member) had written a song based on Roland's quest for the tower called  "Have No Fear".  It's on spotify so look it up!  I think it's amazing, but I am a bit partial ;).

The Dark Tower is property of Stephen King and his respective publishers, the Audiobooks of said novels are property of Stephen King and Penguin Audio Books.

I Come as Myself

In this piece of the conceptual EP.  I was trying to go for, well, exactly what you think i'd be going for if you had read the books :)

The Male Voice is from WH40K Dawn of War II which (used to be) property of THQ and Games Workshop, now Creative Assembly owns said license IIRC.

The Female voice is from HBO's original Series Game of Thrones, property of it's respective owners and George R. R. Martin.    A song of Ice and fire is another great series that is not to be missed.

Former semi-pro. This stuff is super old and was from an experimental phase with electronic and synth-based sounds, plugins, and recycled items.  Very unlikely that this project will have any new releases.
