generative soundscape may compute itself for months and months without ever repeating, trimmed to sound density and tempo settings defined at will by the user before playback starts.

as such, this track is merely a "serving suggestions" of the generative composition, rendered to binaural feed so that it can be enjoyed on headphones.

an exercise on feedback and oscillators, efbach_kurtäns is probably the one with highest track-count of bruno lorso's whole catalogue.

...frozen-still, picture-like-static, yet tonally-shifting, with spectrum's regions morphing and asynchronous beats pulsating, there's only level curves assigned across all of them nine tracks to do the job, on efbach_kurtäns.

something else makes it indeed unique, in bruno lorso's catalogue:  there's no reverberation added, no dynamic-range controls, not an iota of delay... it's the real vegetable in your dish – sans dressing.

...spooky, eerie, ghost-like – there's a reason (and not just one alone) for efbach_kurtäns to be its own thing: summer's here, and it scares the berufus out of me, what with apocalyptic news from the world, and the psychic effect of summer temperatures.

efbach_kurtäns proves there can be a container for the tide of depression that resists the highs and lows of summer inevitability and inhabitability – made with sound, made of sound, but a safe place (in my mind) nonetheless.

Ferragosto, on August 15th, is a public holiday celebrated in Italy since the times of Roman Emperor Augustus, set on today's calendar by the Catholic Church as the Mary's Assumption.

it just happens when summer season's at its peak, climate hopefully veering to more mitigated temperature, finally fading to the upcoming autumn season – though in these years of global warming it's not to be taken for granted that we're out of the hell's oven.

(almost) everyone who can does escape Italian cities, at Ferragosto, bound to seaside- or hills' and mountains' locations, in search of fresh(er) air – which leaves cities and towns nearly empty, their few remained inhabitants taking on a ghost-like appearance.

homeless people, lonely elders, or simply the ones too poor to afford a trip remain where they are, anything around them shut down and vacated – anything but soup kitchens by charitable organisation, where they exist and operate.

feels great to cook for your dear ones, and sit to lunch with them, aware that such privilege isn't to be taken for granted, and a huge army of people simply don't have such luxury option at hand – even in places that are not officially at war.

always avoiding crowds and masses, afternoon's a time to enjoy some playing and listening practice, after the morning cooking session that led to lunch time... some radio, some audio devices, a guitar – nothing new, per se, though always precious.
