I have no word to explain how I feel when I'm listening to this tune... this is a master piece ...! Since I buy it approximately two years ago I think, I can't stop playing it.

Like the joining of ancient clans or the marriage of Marie Antoinette to Louis of France the joining of the Duff brothers is something of a historical milestone. Since birth the Duff's have gone their separate ways, one getting down on the worlds hipper dancefloors, hips-a-wiggling, head thrown back in rapture and all under a spinning disco ball. The other brother the troubled teen, hood up, eyes down, bass rumbling, one time selecta. 

Imagine then two estranged brothers, born from the same seed living awkwardly side by side, never entirely comfortable in each other's company finally uniting on one massive inbred slab of sonic harmony. If you can imagine that slightly cack-handed analogy then that is pretty much what you get here.
 
After a year of huge edits and original material Duff Disco has finally gone and had a fiddle with his brother? Both taken from the forthcoming Duffstep album 'Getting To Sirius', 'Your Touch' and 'Backseat' are original Duffstep tracks given a cosmic make over by Duff Disco. They are proper modern disco music that sits just the right side of funky, without conjuring images of fluffy boots and spiky hair, white shirts and fake tan. Whilst Backseat is the more euphoric of the two Your Touch is more moody than an emo teenager watching Twighlight. 

Both obviously Duff Disco but somehow keeping the family together as Duffstep's finger prints are all over these too.

I have been thinking about it a lot and I have decided that DUFFDISCO007 is the last bootleg I am going to press to wax. I do however want to continue re-imagining songs and giving my interpretation of them for you to play and listen to and so i'll be giving the reworks away for free. I have set up a donations page if anyone wanted to help with covering the costs of mastering future tracks as i'd still want the best sound possible as I can't afford to be paying for it all myself.

So keep an eye out for new tracks! donate whatever you feel appropriate, of course you can still download if you can't afford to donate.

But you gots to wait, you gots to be patient.  So as Winter seeps away and the frost melts we at Duff Disco are getting ready for these sidewalk, hot summer nights, radio bout to blow, small talk under the lights, feel the heat wild and sweet, 
 
Duff Disco returns with his peerless edit series clocking in at a number 5, yeah, a fist full of dollars, the five knuckle shuffle of releases.  Sticking to the slo and sexy formula ‘Catch Me Out ‘and ‘You Wish’ are two sultry jams signalling that spring is approaching and all the ladies will begin removing the layers and making the days instantly seem brighter.

Rope Burn

Outmode is the combined vision of John Donaghy &amp; Jeremy Duffy. Their music has been supported by some of the world's most respected djs/producers…the likes of Groove Armada,Rob Da Bank,Aeroplane,Dubfire,Ewan Pearson,Funk D Void,James Zabiela,Tronik Youth,Ben Mono,Pete Tong,Shur I Khan,Nic Fanciulli,Azzido Da Bass,to name but a few.

The debut single 'True' got some heavy radio rotation across different BBC Radio shows,most notably when Groove Armada stood in for Pete Tong's ‘Essential Selection’. Tong went on to name it as the 'Essential Tune' on his international Radio show.

Outmode's tracks mesh together a range of influences including disco,soul,jazz,house,techno,pop,rock,electro,ghetto... and just about everything else in between. The second single 'Funky Music' was released in July 08, with remixes from Grammy nominated 'Buick Project' (Nic Fanciulli &amp; Andy Chatterly) and New York's uber respected dub techno exponent 'Beat Pharmacy'. This year has seen the release of Outmode's 'Rope Burn' EP, a classic slice of deep house that debuted on Carl Cox's Global Kiss FM show and more recently Rob Da Bank closing his BBC Radio 1 show with. The track also gained support from luminaries such as Dubfire,Shur I Khan,Lee Burridge to name but a few.
