Hey guys, me and Yazzie wrote this song last year and we couldn't be more excited to finally put it out. For my own music, I always like to write about something that I’m usually passionate about in someway. For Crooked Spine we both felt passionate about the idea of being an artist or just generally following your dreams.  In this song, society is referred to as the crooked spine as in, it thinks its functioning fine and normal, but in reality, it isn’t necessarily right or correct in its ideology. Society tries to force this one size fits all type of idea on us and makes sure we don’t stray away from the path that we've been taught to follow our whole lives (go to college/university, get a 9-5 job with a steady income etc...). I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with a life like that, but what I’m advocating here is, don’t be afraid to take risks in life and follow your dreams! Don’t assume that your dream is impossible until you’ve done everything you can to reach it. You’ll never know if you can till you try! <3
