Playing around with Ableton's new probability features to generate drums and apply spatial effects to various elements in the track.

Aside from the keys motif, there is nothing predictable in this track. The version captured here is a combination of sounds I haven't heard it produce yet. Pretty cool, really.

I challenged myself to make a track using nothing but samples of my son and his musical toys.

Fun trivia fact for anyone who wants to try this. Every single child's toy is slightly out of tune. They're all out of tune with each other, and all by different amounts.

So yeah. Have fun with that.

BeBop

This is a song that I've had a kicking around for nearly a decade in one form or another. It started life as a gentle acoustic ballad, but that was pretty boring so I turned it into a straightforward rock banger.
