Outsiders Records co-founder @guillermo-foulkes —alias Mr. Fowks— nos presenta un EP de 2 producciones creadas en el corazón de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Cada vez que Fowks lanza material nuevo este se destaca, su groove inconfundible y color particular nos demuestra su gusto genuino y excepcional por la música.
Inspirado en sonidos de distintas culturas se propuso a fusionarlas encontrando un matiz nuevo, donde llevado a cabo por la experimentación y detalles técnicos nos encontramos ante una exploración de instrumentos percusivos, bajos sintéticos y atmósferas únicas.
Encabezando el titulo del EP, Cigana, nos presenta un viaje, que acompañado por un groove marcado y claps rítmicos repetitivos nos llevan directamente a la música gitana, valga la redundancia, es lo que le da nombre a la producción. Cigana significa Gitana en portugués. Dentro de este baile una linea melódica de una Trompeta que nos va a deleitar y mostrar el camino en toda la composición.
Eu Amo se centra en la fusion de diferentes sonoridades tales como el flamenco, español, africano, río platense y teniendo como base principal la rítmica brasileña. Al igual que Cigana los vientos tomaran el liderazgo pero esta vez será a un Saxo.
Mr. Fowks nos trae un poco de calidez en este invierno porteño.

Outsiders Records co-founder Mr. Fowks presents an EP of 2 productions created in the heart of Buenos Aires.
Every time Mr. Fowks releases new material he stands out, his unmistakable groove and particular colour demonstrate his genuine and exceptional taste in music.
Inspired by sounds from different cultures he set out to fuse them together and find a new nuance, where experimentation and technical details lead to an exploration of percussive instruments, synthetic basses and unique atmospheres.
Heading the title of the EP, Cigana, presents us with a journey, which accompanied by a marked groove and repetitive rhythmic claps take us directly to the gypsy music, worth the redundancy, is what gives the name to the production. Cigana means Gypsy in Portuguese. Within this dance, a melodic line of a trumpet will delight us and show the way throughout the composition.
Eu Amo focuses on the fusion of different sonorities such as flamenco, Spanish, African, Rio Platense and having as main base the Brazilian rhythmic. Like Cigana the winds will take the lead but this time it will be a saxophone.
Mr. Fowks brings us a bit of warmth in this porteño winter.

In this strange year, from the Outsiders family we set the objective of non stopping beside everything. We believe music on this troubling times is an escape and a way to relax, so we kept working on making music. In representation of our latest release "Family", Kevin Sogolo, born and raised in the city of San Bernardo, gives us an hour of music to enjoy a beautiful evening.

Thanks to all the producers who added their contribution to be able to bring for the 4th time another V.A. And always of a superior quality. There are 13 productions, each one of them with its own distinctive colour, proposing to go through all the states.
We believe that the music in all this time was the escape of many people, and what better than to contribute to that.

We welcome @cotasound with his first EP as a solo artist. It is worth mentioning that he already took part with us in Family IV.

This time he brings us 3 originals with the classic Outsiders sound. Minimal tech groove with harmonic deep house tones.

"Dsoul" kicks off the EP with a low bass that gets you moving and soaks in what the track is about to be. There are synthesizers that fill the idea and keep you calm and warm.

"Celica" is the lead track and has a beautiful atmosphere with its dx7 synths. Its stabs and pads will grab your attention and take you to a captivating mood. His drums give it a deep house feel with a minimalistic beat. A track to have in your kit.

"Bishop" closes the EP with a deep ambient vibe that envelope you from the first moment, a melody that accompanies you and makes you fly and a concrete groove that leaves you with your feet on the ground while the rest of the elements take you to the deepest depths.

Damos la bienvenida a @cotasound con su primer EP en solitario. Cabe destacar que ya participó con nosotros en Family IV.

Esta vez nos trae 3 originales con el clásico sonido Outsiders. Minimal tech groove con tonos armónicos de deep house.

"Dsoul" da el pistoletazo de salida al EP con un bajo que te hace moverte y empaparte de lo que va a ser el tema. Hay sintetizadores que llenan la idea y te mantienen tranquilo y cálido.

"Celica" es el tema principal y tiene una hermosa atmósfera con sus sintetizadores dx7. Sus stabs y pads captan tu atención y te llevan a un estado de ánimo cautivador. Su batería le da un toque de deep house con un ritmo minimalista. Un track para tener en tu equipo.

"Bishop" cierra el EP con un ambiente profundo que te envuelve desde el primer momento, una melodía que te acompaña y te hace volar y un groove concreto que te deja con los pies en el suelo mientras el resto de elementos te llevan a lo más profundo.

We welcome the talented duo Camelõt to Outsiders.
Kevin Yair and NEC are two Argentinean artists who have been making a name for themselves as producers, releasing music on labels such as All Day I Dream, RYNTH, and Loot Recordings. Also, they have received support from international artists such as Oliver & Tom and Sebastien Leger, among others.

We are pleased to present them in our house with two original pieces of great quality, showcasing a minimal/deep house signature.
"Side A" welcomes you with its hypnotic, dark synthetic groove, giving way to classic synths and a captivating vocal that will keep you engaged throughout the journey.
"Side B" presents a unique depth of vocoders, pads, and pianos, while the drums are composed of a wide spectrum of percussions, offering a bright and sifted sonority that will delight us again with a warm vocal.

This EP is undoubtedly of high quality and is a great addition to your musical collection.

The mastering was done by Guillermo Foulkes.

Es un placer dar la bienvenida al talentoso dúo Camelõt a Outsiders.
Kevin Yair y NEC son dos artistas argentinos que han labrado su camino como productores lanzando sus creaciones en sellos de renombre, como All Day I Dream, RYNTH y Loot Recordings, y recibiendo el apoyo de artistas internacionales de la talla de Oliver & Tom y Sebastien Leger, entre otros.

Nos complace presentarlos en nuestra casa con dos piezas originales de gran calado, impregnadas de la esencia minimal/deep house.
"Side A" abre la puerta con un groove sintético hipnótico y oscuro, dando paso a sintetizadores clásicos y a una voz cautivadora que te acompañará durante todo el viaje.
