Back in the thick of lockdown I was lucky enough to represent Suffragette City at a United We Stream event for Sticky Heat. It was a strange experience, we travelled to a theatre in Bury and played on stage to a full production crew but no dancers! It was strangely exhilarating in the weirdest of circumstances..... Best of all was being able to play on a massive soundsystem again. Rules dictated that even though loads of my faves were on the line up, we couldn't get together for a dance that day but it was still amazing to be part of that line up, all the sets for the whole event were amazing, proper crew. I think I managed a wave from a distance to Kath McDermott and Rina Ladybeige who I was sandwiched between on the line up. I loved it, although I haven't loved looking at myself on camera since, so I managed to get the audio version of my small part in that big day. Hope you enjoy it. Lockdown BUZZZZZZ. Props to all the other crews that day - Massey/ Sprechen, Supernature, Lovebreak, Bill Brewster, A Certain Ratio and of course Sticky Heat. Extra special props to everyone at United we Stream who have been providing amazing support to the music industry through the pandemic XXX
