Following the debut album Medisin, Norwegian musician, @eddibellmusic also known as the professional snowboarder,  @TorsteinHorgmOfficial  presents 'RETURN' EP, an evocative journey that doubles as the official soundtrack to ‘Return’ - the latest snowboarding film released by Shredbots Productions. RETURN builds on the immersive sound of Medisin, re-featuring two tracks for the film, Pinta and Shadow Dance, alongside three new tracks: Hummingbird, Otorongo, and Return. Organic natural textures, percussive grooves and instrumental harmonies blend with warm analog synths and chanted vocals, creating a dynamic yet atmospheric experience. “Wakeful” is the debut album by  @NicolasHaquin via  @Outtallectuals  label, featuring +20 collaborating musicians. Composed, refined, & meticulously crafted over 2 years, ‘Wakeful’ is a culmination of deeply personal emotions as they intertwine with the expression of collaborating artists who bring their instrumental, production or vocal expertise to the experience.

Presenting Poztman's debut album on Outtallectuals, "Blood, Steel & Rust"; a powerful tale of resilience and the human spirit’s tenacity in the face of catastrophe.

Continuing the conceptual story set in the previous Rites of Calling EP, the story follows Alix, a mentor in a once-thriving village, as he navigates the aftermath of a devastating corruption unleashed by his gifted pupil, Nyathi. Forced into exile, Alix and the surviving villagers seek refuge and a cure from the enigmatic Rust Witch. Despite their overwhelming loss, they muster the courage to confront the darkness and reclaim their village. This gripping narrative delves into themes of loss, redemption, and the strength of community, painting a vivid picture of hope amid despair and the unyielding determination to rebuild from the ashes.

Sonically, the tracks merge folklore & tribal elements with futuristic electronic music, borrowing from drum n bass, electronica, bass, garage and ambient music, while not really catering to any specific sub-genre.

[UPDATE] 

This album was originally organized with the idea to build a science lab at Shree Prabhat Higher Secondary School in Dhawa, Gorkha, Nepal. Unfortunately the 7.9 magnitude earthquake shook Nepal the day after release, destroying most of Dhawa, including the school. The country needs billions in funds to recover from this tragic event and in our small way, we are redirecting our efforts through this project to create a fund for rebuilding Dhawa. PLEASE consider donating to our cause in exchange for a cutting-edge music compilation and help us restore normality to a highly vulnerable community.

Following the debut album Medisin, Norwegian musician, @eddibellmusic also known as the professional snowboarder, @TorsteinHorgmOfficial presents 'RETURN' EP, an evocative journey that doubles as the official soundtrack to ‘Return’ - the latest snowboarding film released by Shredbots Productions. The five-track EP encapsulates a balance between raw mountain energy of the north, and the tranquility of remote snowy forests.

Dubduk is Em9’s first foray into Reggae Dub—layering classic dub grooves with rich, atmospheric textures and live wind instruments. Centered around the expressive sound of the Armenian duduk, the track blends organic and electronic elements to create a deep, meditative vibe. 

Em9 is spearheaded by @joelloopez; a composer, sound designer and producer based in Barcelona. Dubduk marks another step in Em9’s evolution from solo producer to full band, continuing the project’s exploration of global sounds through modern production.

Aside from his project as Em9, Joel Loopez creates original music for media, including soundtracks for films and video games, melodies for advertising and arrangements for independent artists.

Presenting ‘Rajasthan In Dub’ EP; the latest release from Outtallectuals artist, Lo.Renzo (@lo-renzo-project), in collaboration with Nicolò Melocchi (@nicobansuri), an Italian student of Hindustani music, & Asha Sapera, a dancer & singer from the Kalbeliya tribe of Rajasthan.

Primarily, this EP is the culmination of Nicolò’s time spent living with the musical tribes of Jodhpur in the past few years, training in local music & instruments. During this time, Nico has built a solid relationship with various members of the Kalbeliya tribe, a community whose dance & folks songs are included in UNESCO’s “List of Intangible Cultures”, & this relationship has included documenting videos & songs with Asha Sapera, one of the key internationally-renowned faces of tribe.

Combining with the ethnofusion musical capabilities of Lo.Renzo as an electronic producer & player of the Sarangi, Cumbus & Percussions, the recordings of Nico & Asha have developed into this novel collection of songs. Traditional sounds of Rajasthan merge with world dub aesthetics & subtle overtones of psychedelic music to create ‘Lhwar Jewra’ & ‘Beraghi’, two songs with the main lyrical theme of love & separation as expressed from the perspective of such nomadic people who must often leave their loved ones behind, departing without the knowledge of their next exact destination.

I'm super happy to include an updated 2024 polished & renewed version of my collab with Know Matter in my upcoming EP.

"Presenting 'Bouncy Tales'; the new four-track EP from Halfred, centered around the artist's whimsically cheerful sound. The opening track 'Slowctopus' is a bubbly halftime banger, sounding as oddly fun as a slimy sea creature moonwalking on the ocean bed, while 'Outta The Cave Man' takes the same tone and applies it to a pre-historic cabaret kind of setting. Snowons (VIP) is a polished rendition of Halfred's first contribution to Outtallectuals in 2015, upgraded for modern clarity, while Chuggington's heavier sound comes through the collaboration with producer, Know Matter.
