"whilst some of you may know him under his previous alias of dubtil, over the last year or so robert istoc has been hard at work transitioning his artist name to that of his own… a truer reflection of his vision for the sounds emanating both out of his studio and that of his dj sets. not one for boundaries and limits, robert has been evolving his style with a sharper focus on classic (and classy) techno sounds with delightful sprinkles of syncopation here and there (and the odd surprise or two). if you have caught any of his last few sunwaves recordings floating about on soundcloud, you’ll instantly hear what we are referring to. this marks a wondrous transformation from the chapter of the subtle nuanced minimalism era of dubtil into exciting uncharted new aural territories as robert. to commemorate this, he’s also launched a new label on bandcamp called attitudes, releasing new material alongside companion mixes on his soundcloud.

This week we welcome Cap to the mix series. Schooled in the world of Romanian minimal and house, these-days you'll often find him behind the scene's most revered booths and parties from Club Guesthouse to NYC's ReSolute and Amsterdam's VBX but to name a few.

A hypnotic DJ, he possess depth, groove and impressive musical breadth, sliding between house, techno, minimal and plenty more with mischievous ease.  He spins at Dimensions for the first time this summer, and if this classy 80 minutes is anything to go by, we're in for a serious treat.
