An international collaboration between two producers, which was born despite 9212 km distance between Vilnius and Khabarovsk. 5ZYL is already known through his presence on Jensen Interceptor’s “International Chrome”, debut EP “Smoke These” and fresh “Main Goal” EP on PZ Records. Shit Control (Rodion Kirsanov) is an emerging producer from Khabarovsk city located at Amur river next to the most eastern border of China. Synthesizers lover and co-founder of the local underground music movement Tom Tom was already recognized by label CYBERJIT. The shape of “Krug” EP was started in Shit Control’s studio, topped up by 5ZYL in Vilnius, spiced up with False Persona remix in Bournemouth (UK) and mastered by Assembler Code in Sydney (Australia). Perfect testimony, that music is an international language without boundaries.

@zygzyl5 Žygimantas Dzikevičius aka 5ZYL comes from the urban district Pašilaičiai situated at the northern part of the Lithuanian capital Vilnius. Started musical journey around 2007 and being influenced by old-school rave / breakbeat / hardcore sound - Zygimantas started producing dubstep & jungle tunes and djing at various illegal parties and open-airs.In late 2019`s a new mindset under alias 5ZYL was born and it didn’t take long to be noticed by Jensen Interceptor and by local talent hunters - PPP Records - where the debut "Smoke These" EP was launched. Now Žygimantas has releases on labels like - International Chrome / Meta Moto / PPP / Shubzin / Crazed Behaviour / WhyPeopleDance/ PZ/ Your Character / Glispy / Ovelha Trax / Cyberjit / Partyzanai Pop . 5ZYL selections usually varies between electro,techno,ebm but it's certainly not limited to that.

● "Exactly one year after my 2022 release entitled 'Agitation Propaganda', I return with a collection of new tracks that were produced between the middle of 2022 and early 2023. This 20-track album, as the title suggests, is a tribute to the love affair that I have with making music. In 2023 I celebrate my 40th birthday so I thought it was good timing to release a concept album that pays homage to the one true love that I've ever known- Synthesis ♥️

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic synthesizers/drum machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, JX-8P, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to my studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-707, MicroFreak, Prophet Rev2, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

The artwork for the album was done by the brilliant artist Kelly Gilleran, who also just so happens to be my long-term girlfriend. She is a pattern designer, painter, and illustrator. Her work can be found here: www.kellygilleran.redbubble.com/
