Self Learning System present their very first record and deliver a new label focussing on conceptual work as well as interdisciplinary art in full effect.

We believe in the human mind as a self-learning system - creators and originators connected all around the globe aiming to keep the scene alive. We want to cultivate a community and platform for exchange with other artists pursuing music, design, art and events.

Our first strike comes as “The Arrival Of Unisex & Ernst”, a split EP of the two labelheads to introduce themselves and the sound of SLS. The record contains six analog hardware tools ranging from classic Electro to Industrial.

SELF001 also includes an A2 inlay print of Dominik Widmanns acrylic painting „Fabric“ (as pictured). His artworks will cover our first three records, fitting perfectly with the cold and futuristic soundscapes we want to showcase.

Self Learning System is based in Leipzig, where we work together with the local R.A.N.D. Muzik record pressing plant and InchByInch distribution.

The track comes as part of the 7th installment in their Angel series, in which all profits are given to Dundee based mental health charity, Art Angel.

The notorious Glasgow producer, Fear-E is back on Hilltown Disco, after originally appearing on the Dundee imprint in 2019, this time with 4 tracks of techno-infused electro, plus a dance-floor geared remix on the A-side from one of the original Hilltown Disco collectives, J Wax.

Fear-E runs wild, broadcasting apocalyptical electro sounds, creating a seriously heavy-duty record to soundtrack the end of society in worlds not too dissimilar to earth. Punchy kicks, disturbing vocals from the mystical Mike James, and venomous sirens create a fresh take on the sound.

No nonsense electro.

A short but comprehensive 7-step guide to the destruction of heavenly bodies, by Dr. Brian B. Waves:

1. Observe, analyse, take action and neutralise the external defence systems before infiltration.
2. Dismantle the governance structures and remove all charismatic leaders from positions of power by means of public executions. Expect resistance from the underground, do not let it foment, break it at its core and assume the position of the dominator.
3. Create panic within the resistance’s ranks within the shortest delay possible and ensure a large amount of feedback in order to crush the possibility of a future generation of rebels. The acid triplet motion is a useful technique to achieve this goal.
