The latest addition to Toronto's germinating electronic scene comes in the form of psychedelic digital shoegaze duo OVER - an auspicious fusion of automated drone and futuristic folk, heavily layered with fragmented samples and cold percussion. This post-modern hyper-design model embraces the fundamentals of contemporary composition while it eats away at it's own outer shell in order to create a new post-industrial stream of consciousness. Every sound exists only to serve this model and to re-expose the historical nuances that have liberated sample-based music. Inspired by broken dreams and broken appliances, OVER may just skip and stutter across your mind and into your dark heart.
