As a prolifically talented producer and performer, Caleb Jackson’s chunky, funk-infused and psychedelic take on house music has seen him stand tall amongst the crowd. With a magnetic stage presence and sets heavy with original material (plus energetic bootlegs and remixes) he’s fast built a strong following across the country with his sights set on going even bigger in 2023. As a man of (literally) many hats, we’re thrilled to have Caleb join our mix series with ninety straight minutes of original productions 🎶🎓

In his own words:

“This mix contains two forthcoming EPs and a new single, all thoroughly tested and coming out soon on two UK-based labels that I love. I’m pumped to see them go live and share them in this mix for Lost Sundays, which has been a big inspiration for me in the studio. Lost has become a vital platform for me to road-test new material, pushing me to craft a more energetic and dramatic sound with big moments of tension and release to keep a larger audience engaged. It’s a fun challenge to constantly create something fresh for the next time I play at Lost Sundays.

Outside of my own music in the studio, I’ve recently kicked off a coaching program for aspiring producers (which will soon be online as well as in-person). It has been exciting to see so much talent coming through and to help them on their journey - sharing knowledge is key! On top of this, I also work with Art Aid and my own mini label, XYBIT, to run charity events that raise money for the Bali Life Foundation (support disadvantaged women and children). What’s better than a space where people can party while supporting a good cause? That’s the vision.

2023 will see the release of a bunch of my music across various labels. It feels great to have a constant flow of records going out to good homes. I’m also very spoilt on the gig front, with many upcoming performances including another spin at Lost Sundays next weekend 👀”

Deze getalenteerde DJ uit Amsterdam staat bekend om zijn aanstekelijke energie en zijn passie voor muziek. Met een voorliefde voor house en invloeden van iconische DJ’s zoals Job Jobse, Moody Mehran en Josh Baker, heeft Bouss een mix gecreëerd die een perfecte balans biedt tussen house, progressieve sounds en een vleugje garage. Het resultaat is een veelzijdige, uur lange selectie vol heerlijke tracks.

Club Voltaire - PDCST #2 - BOUSS

KINETIKS, also known as Bente and Rozemarijn, came together in Utrecht, where they quickly discovered their shared passion for music. This encounter blossomed into a close musical partnership. With a wide-ranging taste in music, spanning from old to new, from Italo, disco, house/progressive to hard house and trance, they deliver surprising and energetic sets. Yet, it's not just their musical versatility that sets them apart; it's their ability to captivate every dance floor with their passion, enthusiasm, and boundless energy.

For this particular set, we want to showcase a more serious side of ourselves, while still incorporating our signature energetic and feminine influences that will naturally shine through.
Our inspiration comes from all sorts of places. I think it’s important to watch and learn from a wide variety of other DJs, also a great excuse to go out a lot! I can spend hours diving into the depths of the internet, hunting for new tracks. It’s great to have a partner in this, as it allows us to brainstorm and share ideas about what sounds cool from our latest discoveries.
