Guitar part originally written by Gihan Elleray (my bands drummer) and developed by Richard Innocent (my bands guitarist). Vocals are written by me and recorded on my phone, mixed by Harris Shallcross (my bands bassist). This is a demo recording only.

The finished version of my first home recorded cover. I've added a touch of reverse reverb to the verses to give a whispering effect. The second chorus has a double tracked falsetto vocal harmony and an additional track which features the same harmony one octave down.  The vocal outro which I made consists of two tracks which harmonise with one another. Hope you enjoy :)

This is a cover of one of my favourite band's songs. It's inspired by the version created by my favourite singer, Ashe O'Hara. I changed the first half of the song by adding the extended falsetto sections which I think turned out ok. This song is ridiculously difficult to sing and I am right on the edge of my vocal range for most of the second half, I hope it's not too obvious haha.  Hope you enjoy!

I spent half of today re-mixing this recording in response to some of the feedback I've been getting about the original recording I did. I've added another vocal track, re-adjusted the EQ and compression on the dry vocals, reduced the re-verb and cut some of the highs from the reverb and finally re adjusted all of the levels. Hope you can hear the improvement

For anyone interested in what I've done... I've re-adjusted the EQ and Comp. on all of the vocal tracks, then put a load of FX on the master track: High pass at 40Hz, 5db bass boost at 200Hz, tiny bit of Comp before going in to a stereo widener, then 4 band Comp with auto make up on everything below 100Hz and finally a soft clipper with a 5db boost with a brick wall limiter at -0.1db.............. I would be lying if I said I understood anything about what I've done but the internet said that it was a good idea and I think it sounds better
