Influenced by the sounds of his motherland, Jordan, Toumba manages to perfectly blend traditional music with futuristic drum patterns and drony synths creating a brand new style which gives him a unique signature sound.

'Janoob' (جنوب), meaning 'The South' in Arabic, is the area of Jordan where the Bedouins reside and where most of the musical influence of the EP came from.

From the opening track 'Janoob' to the closing track 'Bouquet of Kicks' this release will take you on a journey of BPMs through its syncopated rhythms and sound design that will make you start jumping up and down in the club in no time, it's truly a masterpiece and one of the best Nervous Horizon EPs to date!

D.C. native Ovid returns to Cork imprint Flood for a third time with his latest EP, ‘The Palace’. 

A follow on from 2022’s ‘Stone Coaster’, the New York based artist returns to form with his uncompromising hybrid of funky and hard drum across 4 original tracks, plus a further remix from Shai FM on ‘Crawl Out’.

The release also sees Flood founders Doubt and Tension collaborate with Ovid for a second time on ‘The Palace Pt. 2’, reigniting a three-way collision of sharp, forward facing club drum. 

Our featured premiere, ‘North From Here’, blurs the lines between mechanical and traditional sounds, fizzing with industrial melodies and effects alongside anthemic percussive builds and foundations.

RUTA unveils its second Various Artists compilation, Erre, a release rooted in club music experimentation and aligned with the label’s commitment to a transnational creative ethos. With contributors hailing from Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Germany, the U.S., China, U.K., and France, the compilation reads as a dispatch from a network of producers who share an intuitive understanding of rhythm-forward, bass-weighted dance music, no matter where they call home.

The tracklist offers a dynamic, shapeshifting palette: vocal-driven club tracks collide with broken rhythms, angular leftfield techno mutations, dembow-oriented tools, and even UK garage hybrids. No single genre binds it all together, only a sonic attitude marked by intensity, boldness, and a diasporic rhythmic fluency.

Erre is more than a showcase of tracks, it signals a maturation moment for RUTA, a label of Colombian origin operating from Germany, as it shapes its position within a more global, post-local club continuum. By drawing together both long-time collaborators and newer voices connected by a shared musical language, Erre builds not just a compilation, but an evolving platform for shared expression.

Viiaan is a Mexican producer whose immersive polyrhythmic style manifested by carefully-crafted percussive tracks has secured her a place in the catalogues of respected labels worldwide like Woozy, WVWV or DJ Plead's SUMAC. Her latest output will, in turn, grace the upcoming compilation by Germany-based Colombian label RUTA where her deep track 'Aleatory' that intertwines processed vocals with bird songs will sit between other goodies produced by 	
Entrañas or Ranma Entero.
