[BTRY'063] JENNISEK - "POINT OF NO RETURN" [2019]


Elias Pavlidis aka. Jennisek is a Greek/Palestinian producer who works preferably with modular synthesizers to produce his music.

Mainly inspired by Cyberpunk, futurism and hard Sci-Fi, he incorporates such elements into his music and gives the listener a vicarious experience of a futuristic dystopia trough it.

The Athens based producer is a computer engineer/programmer by profession and this has been combined together with his passion for electronic music. Because of this he had done 2 performances at major festivals, CTM (Berlin) and Unsound (Krakow), as part of music and technology oriented workshops.

Now he has teamed up with "Battery Park Studio" to drop his first release ever in the underground Electro scene. You will dive into a 6 track journey full of modular synthesis and futuristic electro beats.

@BethAlana – who's most often seen playing Hard Techno and Schranz or running raves as co-founder of KANVAS.berlin – channels her UK roots on a savage garage mix which takes in minimal 2-steppers, soulful vocal bangers and moody bass tunes alike. She squeezed a few of her new wax-acquisitions into the 35 minute set, including a supa rare dubplate by our previous accomplice DJ Swagger. So don't delay and rinse this mix like a dirty dish cloth 💦

RAIDERS VOL 16: BETH ALANA

DJ Nine-T-X strikes again with digital release, expressing brave & naughty ideas of a symbiosis strange Russian music and oldskool UK rave sound.

In the first track is one of the pioneers of russian kid rap Zhorik needs a beat and the personification of Russian dubious humor and just a man-meme offers to listen his rap. All this with the sauce of a rumbling jungle tekno vibes.

Second tune is more calmer and contains beautiful, sad vocals & lyrics by unknown singer Elena Borisova, whose song back in 2001 was played all day long on some Russian radio station. Accompanying violins makes tune even more gentle and pleasant, by the way, you know where they come from?

DJ Nine-T-X стреляет снова, в этот раз цифровым релизом, выражая смелые и озорные идеи симбиоза странной русской музыки и олдскульного британского рейв звучания.

В первом треке один из пионеров русского кид рэпа по имени Жорик требует бит, а олицетворение российского сомнительного юмора и просто человек интернет-мем предлагает послушать свой Рэп. Все это под соусом громыхающего jungle tekno вайба.

Второй трек, спокойнее и содержит красивый, непринужденный и грустный вокал и стихи от неизвестной певицы Елены Борисовой, чья песня однажды в далеком 2001 году, звучала весь день напролет на одной из русских радиостанций. Сопровождение скрипок делает этот трек ещё более нежным, кстати, вы ведь знаете откуда они?

Palms Collector (aka Lucas Palmer 333) draws inspiration from European graffiti culture films such as Dirty Handz, Second Life, Friendly Fire or Criminal Minded. 

From dirty sounds of early electro to acid techno, ghettotech, lo-fi house, codeine hiphop and many others. An eclectic selection that we respect so much.

Mix includes two Palms Collector unreleases: techno-gabber roller "ftp1312" with a cut Ice Cube vocal and "wassup peso" - lo-fi house, 90's vibe edit of asap rocky tracks: 'peso' and 'wassup'.

​DJ Sickfuck will soon release her first electro EP "Mommy Issues" and is currently working on a vocal EP to release in spring 2021.

DJ Sickfuck is also the creator of Weird Nights, a monthly pop-up night of experimental, drone and ambient music and is launching Weird Nights tape label in March.
