PIV039 comes from Birmingham-based duo Ruze. Known for their dedication towards dynamically driven basslines, it seems only right that "Mindset" kickstarts this package in infectious ways. "Chapter" takes over with a blistering groove fully loaded with dynamic snare play, while "Tales of Shinjuku" easily feels like a homage to the Japanese game era of the 90s. PIV042 picks up the pace with label resident and versatile Dutch producer Project 89. The opening piece When I'm Around delivers a classic journey of funk, followed by the dreamy and absolute groover Rooftop. Title track Notice Me gets any dancefloor triggered around its melodious output, while the dub feeling of Sudden wraps up this solid pack of original cuts.

I spent a total of 15 hours on this song, and I'm still not completely satisfied with it. It's one of those projects I want to release and forget. The single is in a new style for me: tech house. Even though I think this song is utter crap, I hope you like it.

This is the last single I'm preparing for this year, I'm not working on the last one myself, but who my production partner is, I'll leave it a secret for now, but this single is going to be amazing and you haven't heard anything good from me yet.
