okay so funny story
as you may or may not know, i haven't had a mic for quite some time now because it hasn't been working. randomly, i decided to just plug it in and out of sheer luck, it worked just long enough for me to improvise the verse. after that it broke down.. so i did what i could add chopped up some vocals and threw them on the rest of the song.

This track was one of O w l i s t aka Nitesh Jhurani's first ones since he got into producing music. It showcases his niche for sampling and the intricate ways in which he goes about it. He found the inspiration for this particular track, on a lazy day while listening to some jazz music when suddenly, something caught his ear which he felt he could sample. From there on, the track was built, with the sample as the foundation and him finding other sounds, sampled and synthesized to make the track fuller. For him, this track reflects a "lazy chill evening in a hotel room with a beer and a couple of cigarettes".
