Marie aka dj Alix started to perform in Clubs in Paris during the 80's, specializing in Disco and Funk at that moment. She had decided to become a DJ after her first clubbing experience in 1977, when she had heard "Sex O'Clock USA / Baby come on" and she had become fascinated by the vinyl culture and the power of of the music.

Since 1988 she was running a vinyl shop in Paris, focused on distributing the music imported from USA. Via this channel she has discovered the house music, listening to such early pieces as "Park Ave / don't turn your love" and "Bas Noir / my love is magic". In 1991 she became present at the electronic music scene initiating (with the italian DJ Francesco Farfa)a "Cosmos Factory" at Mozinor,  which was a popular place for parties in the 90's where house and techno movement had its beginnings. 

During the 90's she was regularly attending "Wake Up" at Rex Club where she was inspired by the performances of many prominent DJs, such as: Laurent Garnier, Kevin Saunderson, Ron Trent, DJ Pierre and many more...

Marie had exited the clubs when she became a  nurse in surgical clinics, but she has never abandoned the music. Over the years, since the  90s, she continued to collect vinyl records, and since few years she has been sharing her taste via Soundcloud sessions.
