About the song...
The idea originally came about when I was working on some song ideas and was thinking about if I had made a move for this girl that I liked who was an exchange student and was leaving soon, and how I would feel when she left. That's how I came up with the first line, "Said that you would fly out funny how you left me home". After a lot of searching (up to a month for someone who had time to work on it), I met Logan on Instagram, and he agreed to work on the song with me. Logan helped me come up with ideas for the lyrics, and I wanted to make it into a hype breakup song. This song ended up turning into how the person in this song feels after moving on with their life, because this girl seems to have been living her life without him, and leaving him out of her plans.

About the song:
This song is about how Good God is! We wrote it about how we need God over everything that this life can offer and how he walks with us through every circumstance we face. The line "Oh God I need you more than life" Is talking about how much we need him in our lives, in a metaphorical way as we used life as another way to say "oxygen" or "breath". the way that some past songs have used those words to describe our need for God. This song proclaims that he is all we ever need to fulfill us!
