Now there was little left to do but brush the tears from his eyes, dive, dance and enter the abyss of a new and wonderful world. Only, without her. 

Folamour steps up to deliver a five track EP for the newly formed imprint Noire & Blanche. He blends emotive melodic twists with percussion and club sensibilities.

Following releases on Hafendisko and Mule Musiq, the New Zealand/German duo are set to release a four track EP on London-based label House of Disco. Given their relative newcomer status (the Snacks alias only began in 2014), this excellent EP is a clear statement of what great things are to come from the pair.

“Matinee” is prime terrace party fodder. A feel-good anthem that we’re sure will be on heavy rotation in the booth, and deservedly so!

Classic Alfasound Jingles! Before many of the stations in the burgeoning ILR network turned to Alan Fawkes and Steve England to create their station sound, the station just down the road in Manchester had a couple of awesome packages - this aired in 1980 and these cuts remind me of listening to 261 as a child on my frequent visits to my relatives in the North West and wanting to work in radio.
