Introducing Clavis as a new name to the scene, the veteran production duo of Manuel Tur and Adrian Hoffmann have hit a rich vein of inspiration for their partnership and their individual talents combine perfectly to bring a fresh, contemporary take on deep house..

German duo Clavis return to Freerange to make it a hat trick with their Prodomo EP. They know a thing or two about creating tracks which set just the right mood on the dance floor. 
Here on the Prodomo EP we see Clavis pushing their sound further with a bass-heavy, paired-back approach which manages to fuse a floaty, hypnotic atmosphere with a heads-down, raw basement vibe. 

Closing the EP, Equal Arcs utilises layers of tuned percussion bringing a Steve Reich-esque sense of minimalism to the track and making this a subtle yet powerful finale to a strong EP.

It’s been a long time…. Justin Jay lands on Pets for the first time since his ‘Momentum’ EP in 2015 with a clutch of deep rumbling house jams. And he’s bringing along and old friend for the voyage.
Last spotted in cahoots on Freerange in 2016 with ‘Indecision’, LA’s Justin Jay and Stockholm’s Ulf Blonde splash down together once again with the fittingly-titled ‘Journey Across The Treacherous Sea’. With the drums gradually building from ebbs to tidal waves and back again, the waters flip from choppy to calm as the twinkling moonlight breakdown enters the mix… Before throwing us overboard again.
Ulf takes the control of the ship’s wheel for ‘The Transatlantic Untz’. Building on his releases on labels such as Justin’s Fantastic Voyage, Culprit and Room Temperature, the warm bass-tickled kicks and gentle sense of momentum provides safe passage with full heads-down heat.
Last but not least, Justin provides the final captain’s orders with the deliciously trippy ‘Land Ahoy’. Laced with ricochet textures and a gradual ascent into blissful sci-fi cascades, it’s a game of total hypnosis as more bleeps fly and swoop across the mix. Beautiful as always from all parties concerned. Bon voyage!

‘Who’s Stalking Who?’ 

Currently wowing Pacha, Ibiza with his new weekly residency, ‘Wisdom Of The Glove’ Guy Gerber has managed to coax only the most interesting artists such as Mathew Jonson, Four Tet and John Talabot deep into his surreal, otherworldly rabbit hole.

Not content with planning for the freshest Ibiza residency out there and embarking on an international tour taking in dates throughout Japan, South America and Europe, the Supplement Facts boss travelled through nine countries whilst creating an entirely original album purely on his Sennheisers.

‘Who’s Stalking Who?’ clocks in at just over an hour, demonstrating Guy Gerber’s flair for silky productions, deep soulful beats and bubbling basslines. More in common with an expert sculptor, Guy has long been renowned for his effortless production and detailed craftsmanship; none more on display than here, the achievement made even the more impressive by making original music whilst on the move.  

Hitting the UK for Krankbrother’s infamous Street Party on 22nd June with his own guest John Talabot, ‘Who’s Stalking Who?’ gives you just a taste of that biza magic that’ll be on show in London soon.

‘Who’s Stalking Who?’ will be available via Pacha Magazine’s covermount CD and Guy's SoundCloud.
