Novi Sad electro-rock band Sputnik, which is specific in that 3 of the 4 members are originally from Russia, has released a new single called Like a Million Years Ago. The song had its premiere in the Serbian version a couple of months ago, and reached the 6th place on the official list of Radio Novi Sad 1, only to now appear in the original, English version. The song talks about a situation when there is a dysfunctional relationship in which one person constantly runs away and sabotages the relationship, and the other tries to stabilise it, which leads to inevitable collapse. And then, looking back, we can only conclude that everything is so far away, almost like a million years ago, and that there is no going back to the old, there is no more possibility to get “to the stars" again. SPUTNIK - Like A Million Years Ago

PHONOTHEQUE releases their first single titled “One more night”.

A new name on the European synth-pop/rock scene is an English - speaking band from Serbia called PHONOTHEQUE. Their music can be described as romantic disco-rock, where the melodies of synthesizers and sequencers are interspersed with guitar parts with an infusion of modern dance beats.
The band members moved from different parts of Russia to Serbia and got together by chance in 2020.

The guys recorded their first single - the song called “One more night” in 2021 and released it online on all popular music platforms. The track is a cheerful disco hit telling us about unrequited love, in the best traditions of discos of the 80s and seasoned with a pretty modern sound.

The band consists of experienced musicians who have previously taken parts in various international projects:
Sergey Go_lovin (vocals)
Kirill Boyko (guitar, sound)
Vladimir Chudinov (guitar, programming)

As the musicians say, the name of PHONOTHEQUE was not chosen out of the blue, and means a mixture of musical trends, tastes and preferences of both musicians and listeners. Despite the fact that previously all the members of the band were mainly engaged in guitar rock music, the style of the PHONOTHEQUE project traces the influence of such collectives as New Order, Depeche Mode, Alphaville, Camouflage, Pet Shop Boys.

The band is currently recording material for their first album at Owl Scream Records in Novi Sad, Serbia.

PHONOTHEQUE - One More Night

Grga & The Owl Screamers is a project of Croatian rapper Grga Čučić and collaboration of Russian musicians and producers working in different styles united under the label Owl Scream Records .

Grga aka Grga Čvarak is a well-known rap artist on Balkans, an organizer of battles and a radio host who preaches the oldschool classic rap. He has worked with such rappers and producers as Master, Crni, Denno Carvaglio, Gane RImatore, DoppiaErre, Luđi, Kox.

Owl Scream Records is a team of enthusiastic musicians with extensive experience in production of sound and music for various media. Everything they record and produce is done with individual touch and creativity. Best known for working with artists and bands as Sputnik, Lepša Brena, UROK, Biljana Sovilj.
“Malo Optimizma” song was written and recorded by Grga Čučić on vocals and Kirill Boyko (recording, producing, guitar, bass and beats) along with Sergey Muratov on saxophone and synth.
