During the first lockdown in 2020, I began learning a number of string figures to pass the time. My next release of music is a reflection of that strange period of uncertainty and the string figures I learned. ‘Opening A’ is the lead track from my next EP ‘String Figures’, and I am delighted it will be released on Friday 21st May with Piano and Coffee Records!

Opening A is named after the opening move of a lot of the string figures that I learned. Most of them started in the same way.

This year, I accomplished a goal I set around 10 years ago; I released my debut album. I was honestly blown away by your responses to it, it's amazing getting messages and emails from you guys letting me know what you thought about it, and the feelings you got from it. 

2016 has been a strange one, but i'm thankful for it, and even more so to have awesome people around me who show support year after year. I still remember celebrating 100 followers 2 years ago, daydreaming about a music carreer. I cannot be happier than this, and it is all thanks to you.

This song was recorded while thinking about a relationship that never had the chance to become real. 
There is no sadness, nor regrets, but a feeling of wanting to forget the past and just look forward. We do not have time to waste on our past.
