Ox and Trent are both friends who create beats and hip hop with one another as OXGUNNER. Ox is based in Fresno, and is a cool rapper and a self proclaimed bad trumpet player, and his producer and engineer, Trent, plays guitar, the drums, and piano. Trent was cool for letting us record this episode in his studio where we ate pizza, drank Mountain Dew and enjoyed some good company. All of us had a great time chatting about hip hop, old head rap, anime, and the songs we featured for you guys to listen. We all had a real fun sit down, and we hope you enjoy our discussion about music, sampling and the creative process for OXGUNNER. Even Trent’s Chameleon, Pepino, makes a feature, too.
