Last year's '4' album saw Mr. Luke Vibert's first venture as Kerrier District in over a decade. And a successful venture it was at that – with the album becoming into an essential long player, and ranking as one of Bleep's top albums of 2015, Now, to mark Hypercolour's 50th single release, four of electronic music's heavyweights have brought forward three strong reworkings of 4: Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer, Head High (aka Shed) and RA Best Live Act of 2015, KiNK – whose remix comes up trumps in our eyes.

In his take on album favourite, "Techno Disco", KiNK deploys a spacey synth melody and a Reese-style bassline – transforming it into an energetic peaktime track, with elements not falling sonically far from a UR record.

Amidst his exciting Summer schedule, British producer Secondcity is now ready to reveal his original single, ‘Don’t Strutt’, forthcoming on 19 August via CR2 Trax.

The lead single from his upcoming CR2 mix, ‘Don’t Strutt’ is a club-ready number, and one of the 10 exclusive tracks laiden within the mix. The track kickstarts with a whopping bassline, surrounded by choppy percussive elements that lead into a deep, distorted male vocal. A hooky synth continuously emerges within the track that soon fades out, leaving the overpowering bass that brings ‘Don’t Strutt’ to a striking finish.

One of Australia’s budding new exports, Luke Alessi, is a relative newcomer to the moodier Australian techno scene, but no stranger to creating music that moves dance floors. Luke is quickly making a name for himself with his unique melodic sound that marries the eerie darkness of underground techno with an enchanting storytelling nature. Since the projects inception in late 2018 Luke Alessi has fast become an artist to take note of, receiving praise from leading producers both locally and internationally, spurred by his remix of Lastlings ‘Déjà Vu’ that gained support from the likes of Black Coffee, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Lane 8 and Made in Paris. In 2019 Luke Alessi returned with the stunning ‘Ara’ EP on Made In Paris's imprint Upon Accessm followed by releases on Australian techno tastemakers Motorik and Ugenius Records, which included remixes from Berlin’s Animal Trainer and Sydney’s Doppel. New music saw even more demand in the clubs, with sets at Melbourne’s XE54 and Revolver, and Sydney’s Civic Underground and Good Bar alongside Serge Devant and Hoten. 2020 is setting up to be Luke’s year with releases signed to RADIANT. out of Switzerland (Sabb, Black Circle and OXIA), Oliver Kotetzki’s label a Tribe Called Kotori, California’s Desert Hearts Black and Australian labels Interfonic and All Night Records. There is no shortage of music to come. To support the onslaught of releases, Luke has been booked for debut shows in South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia, as well as taking on support duties with Eelkie Kleijn, Maya Jane Coles, Pan Pot and Made in Paris. Striving to create music that’s designed to take you somewhere else, even if just momentarily, there’s a lot in store for this young Melbourne producer. Stay tuned.

OXIA (Diversions Music - France):

With a career spanning over two decades and touring all continents, OXIA stands as one of France’s most respected DJs and producers. His impressive discography includes releases on renowned labels such as: Knee Deep In Sound, Sapiens, All Day I Dream, Hot Creations, Bedrock, Warung... Alongside his own imprint, Diversions Music.
Over the years, the French artist has delivered numerous remixes for esteemed names like Moby, Agoria, Joseph Capriati, John Digweed, Butch, Popof, among others. 
He has also collaborated with artists such as Miss Kittin, Agoria, or Nicolas Masseyeff, with whom he co-founded Diversions Music in 2016. To date, OXIA has released 7 EPs on the label.
His discography also features two studio albums: 24 Heures (2004, Goodlife) and Tides Of Mind (2012, InFiné Music). His long-awaited third album is now complete and scheduled for release in fall 2025.

In 2017, his timeless anthem “Domino” (originally released on Kompakt) was reissued on Sapiens, and came with a number of successful remixes. The track accumulated to date more than 100 million streams.

OXIA continues to tour the globe, from nightclubs to mainstage festivals and everything in between. In 2019, his live stream for CERCLE exceeded one million views in a few days. Meanwhile, he has steadily released tracks and remixes, notably on Diversions Music, reaffirming his place in the electronic music scene.

2023 saw the release of an EP on Warung Recordings, the label of the iconic Brazilian club. Then, OXIA revisited his own remix for French electro-pop artist Delaurentis,  crafted a remix of "Double Visage" from Nicolas Masseyeff’s album on Systematic, and contributed the track “Evidence” to a split EP on the Spanish label DSK Records.
2024 starts with a remix of the track 'Kilamba' from Dorian Craft's album on Diversions Music. OXIA continues on Diversions, with two-track EP, 'Runway EP', out in early June. In October, he releases a remix of "Continuum" taken from Teho album ‘Shifting’.    OXIA ends the year by collaborating with his longtime friend Kiko on the track 'Vertige', featured on Kiko's album 'Digital Family’.
