Behind this 3 projects Sectio Aurea, Argot Digamma and Anficlavis are hidden wife and husband, best friends, one soul, eternal companions, Marina and Christian. Their origins are from two different countries, she was born in Serbia, he in Italy and now based in southern Switzerland. Music, in its various forms, has been with them always…but its manifestation as electronic psychedelic trance came in late ’90. After some years of partying, djing, fire poi dancing, they decided to get deeper into that sound and start knowing it better by creating it themselves. So in 2003 their first project Sectio Aurea saw the light of the day. It is a fast and complex music that arises from deep and insatiable interest in math, nature and art, influenced by Gregorian chants, singing birds, Italian music and our dogs barkings. Since long time Sectio Aurea is on Goa Gil’s Top 10 charts.

Most of the forms of mutations appear suddenly and effective in just a few generations. But there are some mutations that occur faster and effective with the cause of mutagen. All the chemical waste, nuclear energy, nuclear bombs and weapons, radiation, petrol, plastics and so many more nature- hazardous material (mutagens) that existed because of the miscalculations of human being, have caused many effects on human cells and brain. Human systems that ever existed until today and wrong life-styles are the main cause of weird mutations on many living creature on earth including humans. Wasting information and energy in the wrong fields almost proves us that the generation incapable to create their own reality, has symbolically suffered from a mental mutation. Such as Fukishima and Chernobyl disasters are long forgotten and there are three new nuclear energy plants planning to be built in our country. Instead of taking reasonable lessons from the many disasters around the world, a generation keeps on doing the same mistakes knowingly; this is showing us that it must be a very advance mutation they are suffering in their brain. It is a fact that our future generations cannot create super human abilities from their genetic and mind mutations they will have however, an alternative part of this mutant generation along with significant frequencies, can complete the intellectual evolution and create a life suitable with the planet we live on.  I hope that these set can play the key role for repairing our minds in order to transform mutation into evolution.

Fear is one of the most powerful and primitive senses of human beings. Feelings that belong to metaphysics and mystical worlds are necessities just like feelings such as peace and happiness. Scientific analyses show that a healthy brain should develop fear. It is a known fact that the fear or horror affects people easily. There are many branches of art that use feeling of fear and people used the art for many years to discharge the feelings of horror, anxiety and anger. Theatre, that is the beginning of many other art branches, shows us the concept of ‘Katharsis’, where audience put themselves in the shoes of the hero in danger and discharges their own feelings. First examples of this were Tragedias in Theatre however now many different art branches lead the audience to positive by showing the negative.

Many underground music types used hard tones, metallic and scary noises as a simulative tool. The discharged energy and emotional intensity of listeners and dancers of these kinds of music types, is may be the closest thing to Katharsis and maybe it's more powerful. Like every pleasant feeling, negative feelings, which are considered bad, are as well a part of our being. When not experienced, not expressed or gain a meaning, can be transformed to emotional chaos that can lead a person doing bad things.

From time to time, Dark Trance has been found too hard and too fast by some Psychedelic Trance listeners. However while experiencing this much ‘hard and fearful’ music, a person refines himself/herself by dancing or letting go with the music. This is as well Katharsis in a way. The effect of troubling sounds is actually opposite to what commonly known; brain finds itself in some kind of danger with some simulative sounds even though it is not real and this way it starts working actively to protect itself. It is a fact that people who listens these kind of music can be able to use their brain more actively in time.

We think that Halloween with its theme of horror and meaning transformed through the history, has a connection with Dark Trance music slightly and it can create a harmony by the means of atmosphere, decor and as a way of expression. We picked Halloween date and concept and it brought us a new way of art perspective that nourishes Dark Trance culture. Along with music, works of visual and plastic arts that express dark and horror themes will be presented in our Art Gallery and there will be a an area for Horror Cinema. In this event that we named “Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Halloween” , we will have the chance to observe this horror theme in different interpretations and with different branches of art. While many writers and thinkers indicate current era of living as ‘horror era’, they want us to forget that it is as well an information and communication era and even an ‘idea era’. It is in our hands to give a meaning to fear and process it as artists who noticed the truth. We need to recognize the real face of imposed systems and gain power from the horror by not giving up on our dreams. We hope to use this technique of art and indicate the positive by showing the negative or indicate the courage by showing the fear. We hope to see horror as our friend and notice its real creative power.

She is a writer, organizer, deco & art designer. Also a DJ who has been mixing since 2016 with a name of Oxomo.  Her main aim is to create a new circle of life enriched by alternative and unique ways of music, art and life.

OX is an alternative DJ project from Oxomo who is also experimental psycore DJ and producer. OX focused on collecting and mixing dark tekno, mental tribe tekno and breakcore styles. More slower rhythm than Oxomo selections but still deep and dark mysterious stories by mixing underground tekno styles around 160-190 BPMs. Part of Metacortex Records and underground tekno community from Turkey ; Future Industry. OX is performing from 2019 and last 2 years played in Nentoke sound and Amygdala sound stage at the Albania Teknival, several parties in Mexico 2022, Eudomonia Teaser Goa India 2023, parties in Thailand 2023 and some other events around Turkey and Europe.
