Sonic Trail 5.5 — molten strata 🫠

Techno has all ways been about the desire to travel, both outward and inward. This one-take mix was inspired by cosmic exploration, imagined futures, and electronic music as a form of sci-fi elegy. Opening with Sputnik 1’s signal (1957) and closing with Xenakis’s Voyage absolu des Unari vers Andromède (1989), it traces a narrative arc: a colony leaves Earth, drifts through space, fractures, mutates, and eventually returns—only to find themselves unrecognizable.

Sonic Trail 7.0 — gamma rays 📡

Surging from 148 to 168 BPM, this full throttle mix accelerates through dense textures and kinetic motion before dissolving into something more primal—a wider spectrum of techno, where hypnotic pulses, tribal echoes, and psytrance textures converge.

Sonic Trail 8.2 — phantom orbits 📀

Groovy, ominous techno blends with psychedelic textures, unfolding through dynamic shifts in energy rather than tempo. Shaped at a steady 142 BPM, this mix sutures together swinging rhythms and dark overtones into a form that evolves with quiet intensity.

Sonic Trail 9.8 — quiet chimera 🐉

A rapid descent into an electric blue sphere—well-defined around the edges but pulsing at the core. This one flows in long forms: hypnotic bleeps, extended blends, and the occasional jolt of bleepy energy. The first in a chromatic drift, Blue Sphere maps a fluid field than a linear path.

Fabulous creatures—part human, part animal, sometimes divine or monstrous. From fabula, a fable of origins. In Persian miniature painting, they marked the porous line between worlds, where spirit meets matter. Recorded in one take, this mix moves between head and body, tracing a psychedelic logic that remains functional.

Metamorphóses marks a first full-length dive into the jungle and drum & bass, a sound I grew up with and return to here through some of my favorite tracks produced over the past two years. Opened by broken rhythms and culminating in a trance-inflected crescendo, the mix follows a slow process of change, treating sound as a living organism shaped over time.
