Searching for a pleasing sound and a beautiful aura, we found a place of love, community, kindness, psychedelic connections and space. This is how MISAKI's journey has begun. Psychedelic Connection is a psytrance compilation that she has edited with all her heart and with the special collaboration of many Artists and Friends, met while travelling around the world. It is a series of works which contain a range of music from edgy night tracks to morning psychedelic tunes that drive on a trip from dark sketchy vibe to daytime positive lights. Hey lovelies! I hope everyone had a great entry into 2022!

It occurred to me that it's been a while since I shared a full set of mine so I thought new year = new set 🎶 

The name "Plava" is used in the Indian Panchang system (Hindu Calendar) from where each year has a name. 
The year 2019-20 was named ‘Vikari’, meaning "illness". 
The year 2020-21 was named ‘Sharvari’, meaning darkness. It's pretty safe to say that these previous years lived up to both of their names. 
Now the ‘Plava’ year (2021-22) - ‘Plava’ means, "that - which ferries us across". In other words a new beginning. 

It's now up to us how we want to define the time to come - Let's make the best out of it! <3

"Metanoia" is a term that originates from Greek and has been used in various contexts, including philosophy, psychology, and religious or spiritual discussions. Its meaning has evolved, but it generally refers to a profound change or transformation of one's mind, perspective, or thinking. 

“Shepard Tone” is a metaphor for a society that is always on the run, always producing—the constant pursuit of evolution and the stress that follows - like a Shepard Tone. This tune is made with the amazing producer and good friend Nulla Taar - Sangoma Records. 

"Compass” is about having a loved one in tough times like these. When we feel down we tend to isolate, when in reality it’s the opposite we need. This track is about surrendering and the power of connection. 

The beautiful artwork is made by Emiel and the mastering is done by Plus Six Mastering 🌀

Always remaining a student of the sonic realm, he graduated from The Royal Academy Of Music in 2021. Since then he has guested some of the major festivals such as Fusion Festival, Ozora Festival, Boom Festival, etc.

Combining day and night, the organic with the mechanic, and the conventional with the mystical, he's always trying to keep his sound interesting and playful - and always on the verge of the unexpected.
